This is no matter to make jokes. Or play dumb.
One woman is dead, four were lightly injured and four are in ICU. 29 were injured all together.
The killer is a 21 yr old German Lebanese who was or trying to be involved with ISIS. There might have been a second person. The killer got shot today.

When you consider all the ridiculous battles over nothing (they say you can't take the physical with you) is all of life a bit of a joke when you look at the extent of avarice ... as a sign of mortal sanity?

Do a lot of billionaires not believe that you can't take it with you are that rant over fake news? Who has the largest shock treatment coming? Will Jack Nicholas' troupe assign it?

Word seems to get more important and critical each day as understanding is lost ... consider all the words we know nothing about ... literary nightmare?

It’s heartbreaking to hear about people being hurt at a march.

Most likely, a driver caused the incident.

It’s a reminder of how important clarity in reporting is.

Some opinions in the newspaper find that radical moslems are the greatest threat to the LGBTQ community. ( I am mot sure, as there had also been gay bashing by neo nazis).

Given the efforts we are seeing in North America to roll back LGBTQ rights, I would say not. Those are almost entirely spearheaded by Christian groups even if conservative Muslims and Jews largely agree with them. That's a much bigger threat in the long haul than this kind of violence since it involves removing state protections from them and weaponizing the legal apparatus against them.

I will also remind people that Muslims themselves are frequent targets of radicalized violence, usually from Christian or secular Westerners. We know that all too well here in London (man mowed down four members of a Muslim family with his truck). Quebec City was another scene of anti-Muslim violence.

So to my eye, that looks like Islamophobic propaganda.

To be correct- this was German newspaper about the situation in Germany. Not so many religious groups against LTBTQ there. More so the Nazis with their opinion about “ who counts as real man” and general about sex is for making German babies.

Oh my how I heard that as a child in a base church claiming Christian Emotions ... that drifted off! accept it ... organizing opens up much corruption ... best to be disturbed ... at least incarnate that way ... that's an appearance ... blip!

Acts like this, Mendalla, remind us why Pride exists in the first place, to resist erasure and for the community to stand together against hostility.

The compassionate response's to acknowledge both possibilities. Yes, it could be part of a wider social anger. Yes, it taps into a long pattern of violence toward the LGBTQ+ community.

Either way, it calls us to respond with solidarity and care

Can this be observed in ordinary behaviour ... by folk that we believe are ordinary? Maybe if we observe them in blind fashion!

That's an example being provided by a specific police force and, to be honest, a bad one. I doubt that one would actually stand up in court if a local Crown Attorney even decided to pursue it (which they might not). IOW, that's someone's dubious interpretation of what the law says, not what the law says.

Advocating firebombing the companies or attacking their employees? Then you're probably into hate motivated crime and I won't cry if that person goes away for a while, even if no firebombings actually happen.

It is really messed up ... but I can't say that because it is not up my alley according to folk that believe I think and thus I am hated ... I've been tolk ... so I put oon a masque as most do ... because the world isn't actually real ... it is a front for the gods to present ideality ....
