I'm starting to get nervous about more of the typical wisdom teeth stuff. I'm trying to see that as a good sign though, I'm feeling comfortable enough with the HAE stuff where unrelated, more minor stuff is a concern.
I kind of just realized how many meds I need for this! I'm picking up 5 different things from 3 different places. It's 5 meds whether you count it as the number of DINs, or the number of active substances as one has 2 so that makes up for the 2 different forms of the one I'm getting. Plus there's the stuff that's only at the hospital. I also have all my regular stuff to bring as well. Some people don't even use 5 different medications in a year.

Gardening is a good activity to have right now :)
I'm not completely stressed out, just random thoughts popping up at times, especially when I'm doing related things like making up a grocery list, dropping off a prescription to pick it up later, etc.
 
Jae it is a quilt-a quilt is a pieced fabric top, a layer of batting and a back all quilted. As you forgot to read It's the quilt top. I pieced it.
It is now the 'sandwich" awaiting the binding I just finished. and oh gee it's entered in a quilt show So how is it not a quilt?

It is a quilt. It doesn't look like a quilt to me. I like a quilt to look like a quilt.
 
Jae, you sound 80, not 50. It's as if as soon as YOU take a snapshot of something, it should be banned from new fabrics, new designs, new techniques. Very static world. Very dull.

I have had a very busy weekend. Not much resting up for the week ahead, lol.

I have been learning about quilting for the past while. I have learned that a quilt consists of a top (pieced, appliqued, or adorned in some way), a layer of filling and a layer of backing fabric. The layers are tied or stitched together by hand or machine. Quilts can be very basic and practical or on the level of works of art.

Many people have personal preferences - but my friends who quilt have no patience for self appointed "Quilt Police" offering criticisms and hunting for errors in the top or the stitching!
 
There are different types of quilts. They can be modern or traditional. They can be wall quilts or bed quilts (lap quilts are a sub category of bed) or they can be art quilts.
They can also be made differently, by hand or machine. By domestic machine or a long arm. Appliqued , pieced or paper pieced. They can be scrappy or controlled.

Jae it would have been kinder to say you prefer traditional pieced quilts than to say my quilt was not a quilt. That was rude and hurtful.

Room for all is a place we are very gentle with and supportive of other posters.

Which is why I shared my view that your artwork is beautiful Tabitha. It is. Your choice of colours alone is exquisite.
 
You have deeply offended me Jae. I was hurt by you saying my quilt was not a quilt. I am asking for an apology for that.

the label on your avatar is also offensive and is like rubbing salt in the wound.

That "deeply offended" you Tabitha? I find that difficult to believe. Nevertheless, I apologize for my deeply offensive words regarding your wonderful artwork.
 
Indeed it IS a quilt Tabitha - and a wonderful one! I would be delighted if I made something that beautiful.

It is too bad that Jae is so insistent on sharing his ignorance on this topic. Sadder is his refusal to be educated about the world of quilting in its great variety. His behaviour in this thread reminds me of the man who claimed that a particular book wasn't really a book because it wasn't written and published in the English language!

If it is quilted, it is a quilt no matter what the pattern is. Quilting, as I understand it, is about the technique not the product. And it is a gorgeous piece of work, @Tabitha .
 
On to other things. My mistake was I engaged with the troll.

Already 10 degrees here at 8am. It will be a busy month for me at work A therapy assistant student starts today. Have a good week all.
