Grandad had an earned ThD (Doctor of Theology) and at least two honorary doctorates from universities where he helped start United Church colleges (Waterloo and, IIRC, Mount Allison). Oddly, I've never seen his doctoral thesis, just his master's thesis in philosophy on something related to Kant. Because he had an honorary degree from Waterloo, he was able to process with the faculty when I received my BA from there so I could use my two family tickets for my parents. Very meaningful moment for me to have him there given I was the first family member to earn a degree since him. I think he was very happy, too, even if he already knew at that point that I was not following him into the ministry (my application to Western's library school had been accepted already).

It still involves considerable material for reading into ... libraries of the theory of books and tomes by Thomas ... books of qualm! Excitingly dissonant ... imagine the blast when people discovered they were wrong about what they believed as an "-ism" especially if they excluded much of the curve ...

The other half of the bell? The negative is isle deposed ... part of the obscureness game for those that would rather not .... like know?

I am told it is a stupid and bothersome course to the opposed to open knowledge ... my mother part told me! She did not wish to hear of anything to do with scientific examinations ...rotten words as writ down in degrading order ... causes economic collapse in the end ... business prostitution! Over selling the item ...

My dad reminds me he spent more time at McMaster than I did. He was carpenter foreman or superintendent on multiple buildings on that campus. He dropped out after grade 10 or 11.

My undergrad degree was the first in my direct family.
 
Good morning! Friday has come, weekend is coming up soon. We think of those wo are defending their thesis, of the tic found on the dog, of vet's costs, of those who have already defended their theses, and have honourary doctorates besides. As well as what we come up with today, these may shape our conversation as we meet round the Coffee Cart today. With our coffee and tea today, we have fresh banana bread (local store had a sale on bananas that were ready for muffins or bread) and some freshly made English muffins. The tea water is boiling, coffee is freshbrewed, and the baked goodies are fresh frm the oven. All is ready! Everybody is welcome! Come in and join the fun!

What does ignorance of the low life, primal forms do to those higher in the evolutionary tree ... that feed on small creatures, sardines, crawfish and the likes?

Really quite an impressive qualm ...

Well I’m not, and I said “get lost”! I don’t want Luce to die. The same is not true of him. He wants everybody stupid to die. If he’s set his sights on you and you are not constantly pursuing knowledge, you don’t deserve to live according to Luce. Only those as smart as him and understand as many words and how to use them “mystically” deserve to live or the earth should burn and people should be picked off in the meantime. Go read books in a cave is nice advice for him. He’d love it there I think. I want him to shut up, really. I’m within my rights to feel upset about him. He’s been a disappointment.

Shortly after we moved in, the valve in the shower in the upper bathroom gave out. No biggie, two other showers. Spouse was busy with other house.

Over the years, the priority moved up (and frustration)

Theoretically the product had a lifetime warranty, but, couldn't get responses. Spouse started job but was stymied.

Had a plumber in. Said they would order replacement and do job. Didn't get back.

Other plumber - no shows.

Finally this year i contacted a construction company.
Took a bit and a few visits but as of today, a construction guy and plumber will be here, then drywall guy and tiler early next week to finish it.

They need to take a chunk out of the wall in the hall to install equipment. They are putting in a rain shower and handheld.

Luckily, there are spare tiles so should be doable

Not cheap, but will be good to have working for guests.
 
Imagine vast movements in the cosmos ... a great place to dump stuff from the heavens? May this resemble gravid matter as well as gravid insubstantialities?

I do like to tap into the greater psyche from time to time ... remember it can be overwhelming to latch on ... thus we fall off into the background and rear stages ...

Then some are tools ... may be used as hammers ... a nihilism? Nailed it or at least onyx 'dit! Word fixation ... as these things rest in the darker parts of psyche ... a common surrounding concern ... it cycles ... like Thor items ...
