Just got home from the dentist. 2nd set of fillings done. No idea why my teeth got so bad so quickly, or maybe it wasn't quickly, I just wasn't booking appointments.
Anyhow, the dentist is thorough, and I would like to have teeth as I age, so, getting it done.

Today is the first day we are helping with the girls skating, so that will be a blast, just seeing them learn, and helping as we can
 
Today is a quiet day. I've just updated my private support group on FB. I may put it here in my blog.

I had a phone visit with an oncologist yesterday to talk about the genomic study I've been accepted into. It went well. Tomorrow I sign the consents in front of a nurse via Zoom. It's quite an exciting study. One day at a time though. I get a biopsy in Vancouver first.
 
Nova scotia finally has rain. It’s a nice soaking rain- though it could be more. Up to 25 mm is predicted, but not everywhere. Together with a temperature drop down to 8 degrees tomorrow ( from 30 degrees yesterday), it should help with managing the two still raging fires.

I have been making apple sauce from my friends tree for the last two nights. She doesn’t use her apples, they just go to waste, because most have worms one way or another. Nothing that can’t be cut out. It’s the most delicious apple sauce.
I have a “ food mill” that takes the seeds and skins out after cooking. It ‘s very sweet, despite no sugar added. I will go to pick more on Friday. Will make nice gifts as well.
Picked up free canning jars at a Friend today.
 
Good morning! Hoping your Thursday is starting well. For good dental health, for the study about to take place, for rain in Nova Scotia, for applesauce making, we give thanks. These and other things that will arise will be with us at the Coffee Cart, for conversation and connection, support and community, as we indulge in coffee, tea, and baked goodies. This morning the bakery has made croissants, and provided a number of toppings and spreads if desired. The coffee is freshbrewed, tea water boiling, and croissants warm and flaky. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come in when you have a chance, and enjoy!

So Zach related a story from school yesterday. The teacher had assigned more work during the school day than they had ever seen. Seems grade 5 just got real.

During the day, his friend (who we believe is on the spectrum as well because they often share an EA) complained about the amount of work. According to our son, Zach didn't complain and did the work.

Now, he may not have done everything the rest of the class did. He has an Individual Education Plan that reduces his workload. His friend has an even more modified workload. But he did it, and he tried to get his friend to just sit down and do work rather than complain. That's pretty amazing progress.

Assuming, of course, that we can believe the little bastard.
 
Did anyone listen to The Current on CBC yesterday? The interviewee/innkeeper from Newfoundland mentioned my city a few times in the context of never having been here. I felt like I was going crazy….we were best friends in university and shared an apartment for 1 and 1/2 years. She visited here and I visited her home town/village. I know we’ve gone our separate ways but why would she say she had never been here? I left a comment on their Facebook page.

She won't respond. It's the Facebook page for her foundation. She is a person who decides to 'drop' friends, and one Christmas I didn't know where to send the annual Christmas card/letter to her. So I didn't. After that I was 'dropped'. She has dropped several friends in her life. She is a millionaire, does Ted Talks, and is a member of the Order of Canada...definitely out of my league, so I don't begrudge being dropped. But I hate the lie. I have fond memories of her visit to the family farm and to St. Joe Island.
 
And cheers for chansen's report on the populace that doesn't wish to know ... for if the light was turned on to give them knowledge ... they would be apt Palled ... knowledge is a curse to at least half the paradigm.

Investigate paradigm ... it is a neat curve ... like a bump in the operative ...

It is best if you do not know the trouble you've caused in evolution ... it is a terrible bother if not spectacular failure of loci; sometimes a mathematical bent!

I once took a course by loci ... an introduction to Stats and thus data some folk would forego and thus pho Q' lure to avoid?

How else would the lyres succeed ? It is a twisted world ... right down to the jeans, Ginns, whatever ... if you got out of Ginns would that be like Ryne spirits? Don't go there said the emperors advisor ... yet ... the lion was crossed! Seemed becoming to GEO Ghia ...

Good Friday morning! Cool start to the day here, some frost scattered about. We think today about Zach's progress, about taking part in a medical study, and thankful that sinuses a bit better, about old friends in broadcasting seeming to ignore their pasts, intro to stats course that led to interesting results, and all the stuff that will arise today. We gather round he Coffee Cart to chat, connect, and support, over coffee, tea, and muffins. Tea water is hot, coffee is freshbrewed, nd the assorted muffins are nicely warm. All is ready, everyone is welcome, come in as you are able, and enjoy!

One more question: if told to keep our opinions to ourself ... how would the alternate learn?

Is this why opinions in legal Este is a rising concern? Thus the light comes off the mountain as Lucile Star moaned ... just dripping with it ... dew 'd? Wha' Tara ... it was a dark time! Given what we know, which is corporately limited ... satellite companies give the off shore advantage of alien wind ... somewhat fouler than required ...

Love can do it in a word ... erase all thought ... in some sites it is flat out legalese ... just to reinforce the reason they didn't know ... pure Loci! That hiss from underfoot?
 
I have a doctor's appointment at the cancer clinic today. I'll call in to let them know I'm full of germs. It will be a phone appointment.
