No. Because as I said later in the post, it’s not healthcare. Everything else is, but MAiD isn’t and is only end of life care if it is indeed used at the very end of life (and is a literally a last resort - right now it’s not medical assistance in dying it’s just assisted death, or killing. Thats nothing to do with health. Killing is not a treatment for illness, that’s a disgusting concept Hitler would be proud of. Don’t call it that. Call it killing sick people even if they have time left. They’re not cured, they're not treated, they’re dead. That’s honest, no spin. If people are comfortable with that honesty in their own circumstances and have excess assets let them pay for their own deaths and put that money back into public health. What do they care? They can’t. ) But nobody is proposing my idea and they won’t. If MLI did it would be about privatizing healthcare completely. I’m not about that at all. Only for MAiD, for super rich people who give up living too soon. I don’t think MLI would approve unless it was for poor people giving up early as the catalyst.

There are poles that would support privatizing everything to get it into positions that the public would lose everything ... Christian Nationalism so the belief system could be better off than those questioning ... one is not to question good goths ...

I know there are. I’m not proposing ending socialized medicine. Just ending socialized death so we can have a healthy public health system.
Death is an industry now. Maybe DwD should be the contractors to the dying wealthy and keep their hands off our public health system and divert their non profit surplus back into public health. Maybe they should be outed as the main drivers of the death industry here - death parties, death cafes, whitewashing the brutality of creeping expansion and risk to public safety - and all the nice sounding spin they put on killing as many people as early as possible and calling it healthcare and treatment. That part was always bs whether there’s a place for physician assisted suicide/ or non culpable murder at the very end of life, or not. Just call it what it is. The spin makes me as angry as the injustice of expansion - because it tricked the mainstream public into believing it’s something lovely and caring and progressive. It’s somber and serious, regressive, and also dangerous. No good words for them for doing that. They have a fantastic advertising campaign for a terrible product. Let rich people buy it. Leave public health alone.

MAID is not a simple, black and white issue. There are nuances. Of course there are ethical concerns. That's all the more reason different perspectives are needed.

I am not going to remove it precisely because chansen already responded to it and there has been discussion around it. It was Jae deleting the contents of a post after being called out on it that led to the time limit on edits and you are basically asking us to do that for you It's not the mods or admins job to protect your credibility. You need to do that yourself.

Chansen responded to your post within half an hour. He could have done it within minutes as he did with the case regarding Jae I cited (I did, too, in that case). That's the point of a forum. People read your post and respond to it. In his case, he called attention to the fact that you cited a group with a dubious background. Seems legit to me.
