Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

Nor in most of the world, including other Western countries. It seems to be a very Canadian thing, in fact. I'm sure Korea has some that we don't, much like China and parts of Europe. Doesn't mean we can't talk about it, given the majority of people here are Canadian and resident in Canada.

Good morning. Happy BC Day to those who celebrate. The restful day yesterday helped. Today will also be quiet and may include a visit from a friend. She was a vendor at the festival we visited on Saturday and will stopping in on her way home. We got a new neighbour yesterday. He seems like a nice guy. His mom and sister helped him set up his new home to live independently. They were a friendly bunch.

BC Day sounds like something worth celebrating. Have a good one. BC is a province I really need to visit more, I've had a few days in Vancouver and an evening in Victoria (port stop on a cruise). One of my co-workers is headed East for the week (touring the Maritimes) but said he wants to hit the West Coast someday, too.

Quiet day around here. I'm not feeling 100% but there's nothing specific either. I'll see how the day goes. Maybe just the f-d up air (air quality is 7 again but we are keeping closed up and using AC as needed).

Drove into Newmarket today and the haze was hanging over the horizon. We're surrounded by trees and homes where we are. When you're outside of town, it's very obvious, and obviously bad.

Good morning! New neighbours, smoky and hazy air from forest fires in distant locations, visits from friends, and all the other events and happenings that come to mind, we bring them to the Coffee Cart with us, for discussion, support, and community building. his morning, along with our tea and coffee, we have cinnamon buns to enjoy. The tea water is hot, the coffee freshbrewed, and buns warm from the bakery. All is ready and all are welcome. Come in and enjoy the company!

And thoughts all over dah place ... Laplace transforms as we bolt through ... no lingering ... and we fell to it ...

Eclectic? Metaphorical scattering of broken portions ... all in A Sop's Tale ... profoundly misunderstood because we didn't appreciate words initially ... too difficult to get into so they got into us ... my means unknown! That's the way it was desired ...

Don't tell me how it ends ... because that will start something ... generally more conflict ... to increase militant spending ... as commissions depend on it ... an anomies move up as if we didn't know! You didn't see ene mo my, dijah ... manifested as djinn ... mire essence ... loose dirt!

Tyrants grab for it ... many become spatial ... spaced out by too much ... as tressed up ... truncated ... epistemological folly ... shattered light is a spectre ...

Yeah, they just lifted the air quality statement here. Max of 4 (low end of "Moderate") today, which is fairly normal. So I can go for a walk again, me thinks.

Went for a run last night. Wasn't too bad. I'm pretty lucky in that either I am not badly affected by the smoke, or I'm completely oblivious.

I've done walks in dubious air quality a couple times. It's not great but it doesn't affect me badly. Still, as I quipped earlier this summer, just because I work for a home oxygen company doesn't mean I want to be a patient. :giggle:

I wish the forest fire was in a distant location. It's about a half hour drive from here. Or better yet, not burning. I can't smell it yet this morning. There is rain in the forecast today. Here's hoping it appears and stays awhile.

The only time I have been close to fires was the summer I was in Yellowstone and those fires were quite small and contained, maybe even controlled burns. Smoky as heck when I was close to them, though. Hope you get a good rain. That should help. Stay safe.

I don't think we're at risk here. Still, it's a beautiful part of the country. The highway to Port Alberni may get closed due to the fire. There was a fire in the area on the other part of the lake a couple years ago. It and the subsequent risk of landslides and unstable trees kept the road closed for quite awhile. The only alternative route is a logging road that takes much longer and isn't suitable for all vehicles.

As of yesterday, NS has shut down all trails and woods to the public due to the extreme dryness and the risk of fire. There is still no rain in sight for the next week.

Bad Eire ... all one has to do is deny it and believe what you said ... then evil disappears as it just went strayed off with the thought character ...

What's a thought character? That sometimes is the way it is writ ... if you have a large signature fortified with intent ... this way some will accept anything as norm and the paranormal is out ... as a thought, that is!

Sometimes bad Aries is responsible for his own message ... if it is a misty virtue ... whence we receive a bad screwing over ...

Does the bible say anything negative about Judges? Thus the fortE ...

Good morning! Fires, smoke, and air quality seem to dominate our thoughts at the moment. May that moment pass, as soon as possible. For those who go for runs, or walks, or who live near a fire, stay safe. We gather inspirit round the Coffee Cart, offering our thoughts, and our support, celebrating the community we develop here, over tea and coffee, and bagels with various spreads from the bakery. The tea water is boiling, the coffee just finished brewing, and bagels are toasted to golden brown. All is ready, all are welcome. Come join in the conversations!

There go my thoughts again ... just smoke 'n it across a vast extent ... numb space for carriers ... thus smoky Evenings when visions are blurred by things unspeakable ... for logic I cannot explain!

Is that like numinous? Thus the Dan's of macabre shadows ... all overhead! many cannot accept nothing up there so they stuff it ridiculously ... allows considerable humus ... you Mus 'd from a point formerly dispatched? Prodigal ... waste nothing stir it all in ... great agitation ... the plot of political Tarah -ism!

First sleepover of the week completed with girls.
Husband is driving them to camp. Big day as the oldest's group is kayaking down the Grand.

Souch fun.

Planning tacos for dinner for two hungry bears after a day at camp.

We're so lucky to get this opportunity

Ugh. And a co-worker is headed down there on a tour of the Maritimes this week. NB, PEI, and NS.

My boss was talking about doing that kayak ride when we were driving to Cambridge a couple weeks ago. Something we might consider. I am not really comfortable in a kayak (prefer canoe) but my wife enjoys it.
