Greetings. We've been enjoying a few moderate lovely days. I'm glad because it means I can knit the baby blanket I want done quickly. They are doing some work on the park and that affected our water. No water. So, we do have some on board for now.

I will be hearing the album in my head from my teen years
I've heard many good performances of it over the years (never actually seen one live) but it's the 1970 concept album with Ian Gillan of Deep Purple as Jesus that sticks with me to this day. Gillan is still touring and recording at 80 and Deep Purple has a new album planned for next year.

I'm excited to be going out for dinner with two friends tonight. The three of us don't get together often as we would like, and it is always wonderful when we do. After dinner, we're headed to see Jesus Christ Superstar at the local theatre, part of the Drayton chain. Reviews have been good, but, to be honest, it wouldn't matter unless it was terrible, as I will be hearing the album in my head from my teen years, and so will one of the others going.

Does this give reason to learn ... in the doubts of whether knowledge is right and proper! Skepticism grows ...

Good morning! Friday has arrived. Weather here is much more pleasant today, hopefully any heat warnings where you may be have expired. For the exploration of the Book of Acts of the Apostles which has just begun, for knitting and crocheting blankets, for performances and memories of 'Jesus Christ Superstar,' for all the other stuff that comes up, we are here for it. We gather around the Cart for chat, support, community, and tea and coffee. This mornng we have English muffins with various spreads and toppings. The tea water is at a boil, coffee is freshbrewed, and muffins toasted to golden brown perfection. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come join the fun!

That is the one of my youth.

Its like the message (Ares) in the French Song ... quite franc if you read into it ... always something deeper like adepts! Really as*kill or talent unseen ... in the ordering of things experienced in HD as a part of ADHD ... hyperactivity? Thus the prerequisite for cooling ... its a water thing! Flo' ... sometimes like dew din the sans ... Streams in the Desert? Gritty process ... strands ... many threads to combine ...

We're in yet. another. day. of. heatwave

Very hot and humid here. I just got in from a 45 min walk. It's bearable outside knowing I have A/C at home. It also helps to go out early in the day.

My boss and I drove back from Cambridge last night. What a storm system that was. Constant lightning until we were basically in Middlesex. Some really lovely bolts, too. Rain was sporadic, though. Went from none to heavy to showers and back.

We left about 8:45pm. Work was having a retirement dinner at the Cambridge Mill for a couple longtime managers who are calling it a day next week. Good spot, great meal. I haven't been in that part of Cambridge in eons.

The restaurant was first opened back in the early 80's. We were married in 1988, and had our reception in the upper floors. It was a lovely location.
In 2008?, it went through a major redesign as the initial design was a challenge for servers/kitchen and just size.
Pearle now runs it.

I had my retirement dinner there as well.
Our family used to go a few times a year when looking for a nice dinner location. Our home was about 1/2 mile away from it.

Small world :)
More like popular spot in SW Ontario. The "About" page they put in the menu last night actually says the same group also own the Ancaster Mill, which was a favourite spot for brunch in my Hamilton days. And someone said they have the old mill in Elora, too, where we had a dinner for the senior leadership one time (inexplicably, I get included in that list  ).

My son's wedding was at the Elora Mill: the service was in one area, and the reception in another. It was a wonderful venue. (They got engaged there as well)

Oh, they also own other restaurants and properties.
Earth to Table is quite good.
