CARNEY - Some people think......... How do you feel?

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

It is a shade of comfort as we return hom ... that great green mile? What a trip ... then like the Lorne or lower 'n ... we descend ... not knowing what the f 'n meaning of it all was ...

This is what happens when emotion over runs the wee bucket of common sense ... the shade; "puce"? Burned out fighting for virtue? As "puse" it can mean a number of things that can be hidden in the kitty ... there is so much to word that the simple refuse ... and thus our pains!

We don't even know how to care for a bit of intelligence ... thus it departs ... it is said that some even hate knowledge and intelligence ... leaving us to an experience without it.

Then the table turns? The other side of myth ... the thing we live in ... but are not allowed to speak of ... to protect the great unknow 'n ... lost it?

Pure posey ... a fore runner ... "just you wait ..."

So at the G7 meet we have a convicted Felon, a fundamentalist Hindu who ordered a hit on a Canadian national, an Italian Fascist, a follower of billionaire Klaus Schwab...

Any actual lefties?

Yes he’s a “globalist” (global cooperation isn’t a bad thing because we do live on one planet - which is probably a good thing because we’d ruin others too - if being global means recognizing we breathe the same air and we’re all human, good). I’m not happy he was elected because he was the lesser of two evils in the running. He’s a banker and an economist with an authoritarian streak and Pollievre probably would’ve been a Trump style populist dictator. I think there’s a chance Carney could do damage to our democracy and change things for the worse for people on the margins. I do worry about that. However I’m so tired of the conspiracy theorists entirely focusing on the wrong problems - they’ve been misled into it - or just being spiteful, hating on progressives, and not actually helping anything, or with no independent analysis evident, to break free from the influence. Zombies. The “monoculture of free thinkers” Marc Maron calls it. It’s the “whataboutism” hamster wheel. Drives me bananas. I was taught critical thinking is the most important skill to learn. What right wing libertarians are doing is not that.

Yeah, I was able to find both of those
The second quote independently in the earlier days when I was tooling aboot seeing what surface stuff I could find aboot this to me new person

It is good to know these things :3

Though the first quote I couldn't find it at that source...I had to go to the actual award video on the United Nations Association in Canada channel to see and hear him say that.

I guess part of it is human nature -- I remember the silly fights over BLM being violent, peaceful, mostly peaceful or even the kerfuffle over the Jan 6 event at White House and the other one where protestors tried to storm the WH and remove Trump, with different people being triggered by Insurrection no that wasn't an Insurrection this is...even here

Legitimate protest vs. riot -- much of that is in the eye of the beholder

Its so hard to choose when so many of those who lead us are, rather, corrupt or bad in some way...

And so forth and on

Keep on truckin

There are different kinds of leftists. Some like most Conservatives want to control other people. Some are fundamentally human and seek equity and democracy. Few of them have succeeded in gaining political leadership since neoliberalism gained control in most democracies. Being truly woke is a tough way to live.
Just look at what happened to Jesus.

Source of the story of the great Blue Eye ... said to be mythical like the conscience ... thus the choice of unconscious nature ... and we go under the green power ... of what else: "coming home again!" Those big wheels keep turning ... maybe 3 or 4 o've them ... complex spin! Something to be observed from outside ... Black Swan Theory!

The populace has been conditioned not to listen, look or speak of it ... 3 Mon Que -A? Some say Oh Kaye ... and play Hokaye ...

Trump departed G7 because he couldn't accept such concepts or went somewhere to handle something he has no idea about ... like he believes he has Israel in hand? That extends to Putin, etc.

Some folk do not have a clue about freedom of the opposed ... as it alternates ... leaders are always up against it ... Cons ... no Pros exist here just visions ... that far away appearance ... like dropping off during the parade ... the bore!

None in the G7, got it

Out of context quotes tossed out as being someone's actual position is all the rage now, isn't it? Give me the full interview or speech so I can see the quote in context, not whatever bit happens to fit the poster's agenda.
I will try to post them later

They are actual quotes

I never disputed that. But what was the context? Often what someone says before or after a short snippet like that can qualify or give a different spin to it than putting it out on its own. Frankly, dumbass memes like that are mostly spin of the worst kind, taking someone out of context so the memer can spin the quote however they like without regard for what the speaker meant.

I never suspected you of disputing "that"

Again I will post them so you can decide :3

Good thing the memester gave sources; it was much easier to find them

Essentially he enjoyed the G20 riots
But didn't enjoy the Ottawa Trucker event...

I find memes enjoyable, they can be quite creative, art, very much like.poems, trying to contain as much meaning in a tiny "area"

So then given those 2 Mark Carneyisms, I have to decide what it "means", which is more than 1 thing...

I wasn't too happy about either but I'm sure he has his reasons. Demonstrations can happen without disrupting people's everyday lives.
Not being able to mind read is a blessing :3

Did the G20 riot distrupt every day lives?

(again, what you wrote is another example for me of justified riot or not? which is what we all do)

For the audience:

the first sourced quote took me here

I did not find the quote either in text or in his edited comments. He was being given an award

So I had to.do some digging and managed to find what looks like the unedited talk

The second quote was much easier to find

Now we can try to figure oot what they mean

Try fitting them into as many containers as possible and see what happens :3

And remember that Trudeau was found to be wrong in enacring rhe War Measures act and infringed on Charter Rights -- one cannot hand wave that away.
