Have you verified the attack dog is up to date with its shots? Especially rabies?Well apparently Baela is the talk of the park. A lot of people heard the fight. Of course our friends network knows. Dog is also known around here so even if people don't know us, they know about her. A lot of friends came by to check on her this morning when I was at church and hubby was here. When I got home she was under the trailer. Apparently the visits were exhausting. Our neighbours have a golden and a Bernese Mountain dog. The goldie is a barker and gets the other guy barking. Their people are working on that. Baela wasn't bothered by that this morning. That's a relief.
I checked the bylaws for the city. There is no breed specific muzzle law. If a dog is deemed to be aggressive it is required to have a muzzle, be leashed at all times and supervised. The park says dogs must be leashed and not noisy or aggressive. Hubby went over to the place where the dog lives and they weren't home. Apparently they've put up a beware of dog sign. I wonder if the park spoke to them. I will go to the office tomorrow when the managers are there. They have more power than the weekend staff and will presumably make the best decision.
