Good morning! Prayer shawls finished and presented, winter drawing to a close, rain replacing snow (alas, sometimes freezing rain), parts of Highways 401, 402, and 403 closed; quite a day yesterday. Political rallies happening, skiing not happening much anymore this season; a lot to chat about, plus whatever this day may bring. We bring it to the Coffee Cart with us for discussion, support, and community, over mugs of coffee, cups of tea, and cinnamon buns, warm from the bakery. Coffee is fresh brewed, tea water is ready, buns are divine. All is ready, all are welcome! Come join the conversations!

A Doom and Gloom weather forecast here. Supposed to get lots of snow, maybe freezing rain. We don't have to get to somewhere else so will just wait and see.

Japan is known for the cherry blossoms just happening- is there something similar in South Korea?
( right now we hear from the wildfires, hope that isn’t anywhere near you).
Yes, the cherry blossoms here are beautiful and there's at least one cherry blossom festival here that I know just a little about. The Japanese cherry blossoms seem to be a bigger deal, though, for a number of reasons. The Japanese blossoms have appeared in Japanese tourism ads and anime, and the Japanese cherry blossom season is longer that the Korean one is.

More March weather of various types happening around the country, alien thinkers and cherry blossoms, all the other things from yesterday, and the new things that will pop up today; we bring it to the Coffee Cart for discussion over coffee and tea, and squares and brownies. The coffee is fresh brewed, tea water ready to use, and baked goodies still warm from the oven. I like the alien thinker part ... is there strange passions that go with that to raise something beyond human despair as our leaders loose what ever clues they may have formerly acquired ... numbed expressions? Retained only by relief ... recessed! Deeply cut ...
