Snow moving, cold temps with windchills, family activities, DST coming up, all the other things from yesterday plus whatever arises today, comes to the Coffee Cart with us, for chatting and support, as we drink coffee and tea, and munch on bagels, with various toppings. The coffee is fresh (of course), tea water is near to boiling, and bagels will be nice and warm from the toaster. All is ready, all are welcome. Come in, relax, and join the conversations!

Will join in the fun of a Café Latté and a Blueberry Bagel

You seem quite taken by Korea. Come visit any time for a couple of weeks. We've a spare room
LOL. He's not the only one who might take you up on that. I've never been to any other East Asian countries, just Mrs. M's homeland. Japan and Korea are definitely on my radar, though.

Good morning, peoples! Drinking Yorkshire Tea today. My new tea passion, it seems. My new story may be finished. Need to read it through again but I've set it up as a draft on StoriesSpace and generated a cover image with my AI of choice (I am many things, but visual artist/graphic designer ain't one of them). Just need to click Publish and it's off.

Working from home as I wait for my phone number to be moved (ported in industry parlance) to my new voice provider. Who happens to also be my Internet provider. These ports have sometimes been an adventure at work so hoping this one goes smoothly.

Absolutely Mendalla, you're welcome to visit us any time. Korea's a great place for a vacay

We have our summer spot now. It's a nice park that is all long term folks. We may consider making it year round. The one issue is it's in the town north of us. Almost a suburb of the town were living in, but still.
A year round spot would appeal to me, I think. No packing up and moving several times each year. You have travelled back to Ontario a few times, though, right? Will you do that again?

What is the issue with the two towns?

I'm not sure if we'll get back to Ontario. I have a pretty short leash. The only issue with the two towns is we've made connections in our city. That being said, the other one is close by and is a nice town. One bonus to being in a permanent site is mailing address. That is a problem with the health authority when they try to book me for a CT at the wrong spot.

Why are you changing summer and winter spots- is it for change of scenery or is it more of a financial or logistical reason?

We can only stay in our winter spot for 8 months. That's partly because of city by-laws. Mostly it's because under 8 months is Hotel and Innkeepers Act. Over 8 months is Landlord and Tenants Act. It's part of life in an RV.

I come in here to gripe about the cold but then @KayTheCurler posts and I'm like, meh, I can live with our mere -22 windchill. *shivers* At least the snow seems to have stopped for now. Some flurries on the way in to work but nothing substantial.

Phones all moved over and working at the new provider much the same as I had it set up at the old one. Has me meditating on how phone numbers have gone from something fairly static, number=device or at least house, and largely controlled by Bell to something you can take with you between devices or providers, just over the course of my nearly 60 years. You can change your number to a different cell phone just by moving the SIM. You can change providers just by asking them to port the number. You can have a number ringing on other numbers (my new provider lets me have my home line ring on both my home phone and my cell, for instance). At work, I don't even have a phone on my desk anymore, just a plug-in for MS Teams that lets me use my computer as my phone. Which also lets me make calls from my cell phone that show up as being from the office. I still remember the days of rotary phones and even party lines.

Do all normal folk have at least one bitch in them as a beef? Its a wrap ... some say the female spirit in amon, or animu ... plural?

In plurality we collapse ... a statistical Eire about Ciel and Skye ... all humming up there ... as we pass under!
