Snow has actually been less than anticipated here so far. Has mostly let up this afternoon save for the odd flurry. Still risk of more overnight and tomorrow apparently.

The Punch Bowl on our river (really a stream). Went full immersion here last Monday.
Froze my hair and patches of ice on my face lol
Had a nice long soak at home

and we had a POPULATION EXPLOSION of blue fairy aphids this year

Well take that flick but instead of those evolved dinos put in sun eclipsing clouds of cute fuzzy blue insects

i would often get a meal even without having my mouth open lol

Poor things would get caught and die on my clothing :(
 
Good morning! How is everyone? For finding joy in the simple things, Asian roads, winter weather, snow, winds... In this area we have a winter storm warning. Hope all of you involved in that stay safe and warm. If you have a chance, come in and join us round the Coffee Cart. Coffee is fresh made, tea water just about boiling, and the homemade cookies are wonderful. All is ready, all are welcome. Come in and join the conversations!

It's a winter wonderland here and church is cancelled. Snoopy's bible study has me contemplating interfaith marriage this morning.

Who is that song kidding? For some of us, letting it snow just means a sore back later. Sigh. Coming down pretty good here right now. We need to get out to do some grocery shopping at some point given the holiday tomorrow so shovel will be coming out sooner rather than later.

Yesterday was the most normal I felt since my treatment. I went to a group meeting in the morning then to my sister's in the afternoon. I did laundry at my sister's. I was tired by the end of the day. Actually it was more fatigue than tired. I'll take it. It's an improvement over the super fatigue (I can't describe it), I had been feeling. This afternoon might involve a book
 
First pass at the driveway done. Wow. Still coming down pretty hard so there'll be another round once it quiets down but groceries are needed and stores are closed tomorrow.
