My sister-in-law in Vancouver told us that her yard is completely covered in snow. We usually expect her spring pictures sometime in February.

We also have buds on the trees. I haven't looked to see it the hyacinths have started yet. Rhodos have buds.

Good morning! Happy Tuesday! Thanks to Nancy for the leftover cake, mmmmmm good. Snow in Vancouver, buds on trees, early signs of coming Spring, and all the other things that will come to mind today, they will come to the Coffee Cart with us as we gather. The coffee is fresh brewed as always, tea water at the boil, and the blueberry muffins look wonderful. Come in when you can, sit, sip, munch, and relax; join in the conversations. All is ready, all and sundry are welcome here. Come join the fun!

And chiþ ET's fly ... well spun thingies ... dis guis? Some say discus ... and there they stray off ... like a myth going about a table ... fate causes it to alter ... that's a change ... instead of Black & White ... tomorrow? Ho gnoes ... Pi Nachio? Card games? That's quantum observation ... prone to exceptions ...

In the Star Chamber some gain points ... like Urchins ... beasts with prickles?

Will join in the fun of a Coconut Vanilla Latte and a Lemon Cranberry Blueberry Muffin

Is cost cutting in knowledge and intellect effective when you destroy the wisdom available to great powers ... fringe benefits allow temporary commissions just prior to implosion ... how do we get beyond that? Stuff the fascia with some activity would have improved the immobility's ... thus stuck, rod'd and shafted ... like that woman injured in the cross-tree failure ... part of the rigging up of the 4 horse --- Barbara Bolte Taylor!

Thou must make connections ... partisan underground? Potentially ... a light sink, or energy sink ... 3 parts with episteme ... the part that supports the stinking tril*liad is the 4th portion ... just before quintessence ... that's ONE Han's ... in other traditions Yan's, or Jan's ... some even say Jannis ... or Iannis ... those firm wouldn't go that far as the accept it as incarnates ... there's More's ... the wind blows!

Consider the first signs in semitic linguistics ... inclusive of Coptic ... hoos to take advantage? It is not difficult to disseminate ... scat?

I have to go out and about today. Two things are necessary. Two are not. Our part Vancouver Island got clobbered yesterday. I'm not sure how we compare to Vancouver. I'll see what they have to say about the roads and decide from there. I do have good tires and a Rav so that will help.

My wife's commute was fun this morning. Our little GTI has brand new snows, which makes it quite capable.

I need to make some errands in the F150. Weather is not my concern. The hard part is I have to take that beast into the middle of Toronto tomorrow morning. Ugh.

I've been out and am now home. I was able to get the bloodwork done early so I don't have to go back for my appointment. The roads weren't bad. I did slide through one yellow to red light. I suspect I wasn't the first. It was a bit of a downhill. Fortunately no one was on the cross street. Lots of Toyotas and Subarus on the road today. :)

I fecking hate fecking cancer, and I am so mad at the Universe for my friend, NW.

I will be, as always, keeping you in my "healing thoughts" compartment of my brain, dear K, or however you define prayer.

And maybe you'll land a drug that puts you in long term remission PLUS has a wyrd wonderful side effect. My current glaucoma drugs make my eyes look like husky eyes (much bluer) and my eyelashes longer and curlier. I've always wanted to be prescribed a drug that gives you longer/better orgasms, amirite?
Yeah - cancer sucks. Other diseases too. I long for a drug that cures whatever disease you have with only desirable side effects. Shapely body, enough energy to enjoy your days, some eyelashes would be cool, and the ability to find the best words in every conversation. There are lots more but I'll stop there.

Having read all the way down this thread and commented on older posts I'll explain.
On Thursday I was taken to the ER with low oxygen problems (among ot her things like tiredness etc). It was good that 'my' doctor happened to be on duty so he rapidly went to work because he already had some clues from treating me before. Once all the testing, imaging,, dosing etc was complete I was admitted for further treatment.
I was released this afternoon with many cautions - another day of treatment would have been better. However, the staff were dealing with lots of incoming flu cases and it was decided I was in more danger staying than going! Still on two antibiotics and a bit wobbly if I move too much. They seem to be calling it pneumonia in a COPD patient with other complications.
Whatever - I' m out and Mr Curler is t aking good care of me.
My cell phone didn't want to work properly in the hospital or I would have stayed in touch. Still being weird now I;m home so that is a job for tomorrow.
