Yeah, it cost relatively very little extra is my guess. Maybe one extra RCMP officer to accompany her but even that might just be coming from his regular detail rather than an extra body. As I said, I used to accompany Mrs. M to conferences and it cost her university (or whoever was funding her) nothing extra, really. The opposition really needs to focus on serious issues rather than trivia like this. There's enough there for them to make a case against Trudeau without dragging his family in.
Same question to you, Mendalla. How much should the cost be iyho before it's wrong?

Thus floating point decimation for those anxious and hostile to everything ... God spoke about getting nothing ... an escape route from this troubled domain?

Thus Jae get violently stirred ... god's past ... pas 'd? What a hand off ... 3 rd hand theme ...

Not on the taxpayers' dime. Or, really, thousands of dollars. You may have money to burn, Waterfall, not all of us do
She was not on vacation. She was attending an event which could help her know more about what her father does. The cost was probably less than a hundred dollars. From what I have learned about her mother, I suspect she will be able to provide Justin with another perspective on the events. To me it seems very petty to complain about her going on this trip.

Could we have petty causes on this site when so much of the earthy domain is in need ... mostly because of limited avarice by the powers or those wishing to be great power ... then the nemesis ... a sense of folly? Folio ....

Has anyone in Canada complained about her going? I am bothered that PP can spout misinformation and lies on the public dime creating fear and anger that has no substance.
.

Thus substantialism in some hostile believers that all things should be seized for private interests ... the public is nothing ... just a great bother, worry, etc. kind of an anis to the wealth ...

When the populace collapses who will carry out the dirty toil like turning over the chips?

And if you read carefully, I clearly suggested that the opposition needs to find bigger fish to fry. I don't consider any of the Trudeau trip "scandals" other than maybe the Aga Khan one (since it was basically an undisclosed gift from someone with an interest in influencing government) important so have not really thought about it.

And this.

Jae spinning a political story? Never happens. ;):LOL:

I was thinking of removing the ignore. Seeing all the responses to one poster tells me it's not time. I wouldn't respond as well as you folks have.

As for PP, I agree that it is bad that he can lie in the name of campaigning. And why is he campaigning now anyway? When the BC election was running we saw PP ads three or four times each half hour. Talk about overkill. There was talk he was trying to help Rustad. He says he's going to cut taxes and fix every problem Trudeau allegedly created...... problems that are currently worldwide. Wow Trudeau is so powerful....... How is he going to pay for all this wonderful work if he cuts taxes? And that's only one complaint

Jae down there looking for dirt ... down being "sous" and under the horizon without a spark of illumination. Un believable? But that's the NAR thing ...

How do you know she attended the event? How do you know the trip cost "less than a hundred dollars" (and the same question to you, jim, how much would the cost have to be before it becomes wrong?) It's really more about the principle of the thing anyway, not the actual dollar amount.

Even if you were to be correct on the things you've said, jim, - why should she get to attend the event and other teens not? She's not an elected representative of Canada.

Is anyone else save you kicking up a hullabaloo about this? Why aren’t they, do you think? You don’t know if it was just a vacay for the daughter (though it seems you think it was) or a working trip. It has been pointed out to you that it likely was not much more expensive than otherwise. Methinks there are other factors at play in your mind, than dollars and cents.

What work do you imagine the Canadian government has assigned Trudeau's 15 year old daughter?
...It has been pointed out to you that it likely was not much more expensive than otherwise.
People have said that, with providing no proof of that. Also, Redbaron, the same question to you - how much would it have to cost before it becomes wrong?

Go ahead and think

I would certainly prefer that my tax dollars be spent to help Trudeau's daughter travel with him, rather than spend them so Mr. Trump can play golf at his own clubs twice a week, with all the Secret Service protection going with him, in hideously expensive rented golf carts, with much of that money going into Mr. Trump's pocket.

And you have provided no evidence to the contrary.

I just looked up Trudeau's daughter travelling with him. There was something from 2015. There were stories about a vacation to BC earlier this year (January?). There was one Instagram post from Trudeau expressing gratitude that his daughter could join him on a recent trip.

How on earth is this an issue that keeps one (or two?) poster going for several pages?
