And there are jobs that many Americans won't do...
Think they'd do them, Waterfall, if the pay was increased and benefits were added/improved. Course, that could easily make the price of food soar. What the Trump/Vance administration would do then while keeping to their campaign promise to lower costs, I've no idea.
but I do believe immigrants need to do this legally, with the process sped up. In the case of immigrants fleeing from persecution, it requires faster processing and attention.
Agreed

Just four years ago Tulsi Gabbard ran for president as a Democrat.

4 months ago, Tulsi Gabbard was placed on a domestic terror watchlist by Biden/Harris.

Today, Trump appointed her to serve as Director of National Intelligence.

"What would you like to know, Mr. Putin?"

Yeah, I'll get right on that, as soon as you provide any example of Trump responding intelligently to any serious questions of policy. I have waited a long time to see your response to that request.
Can't believe you're still echoing that old refrain, Redbaron. As was said long enough ago, the ball's in your court

Not really. The people targeted are people of colour and asylum seekers. The people being blamed (often without back up)for social distress are people of colour and asylum seekers. This is true in Canada and Europe as well as in the US. The next step is to say we are only for immigrants who "share our values" or who "will not make us change" or more bluntly "are like us". It is a cover for racism.
The people who are being targeted, Gord, are illegal immigrants. You know, as in people who are illegally in America. In any given race is everyone being targeted? No, of course not. The criterion for targeting isn't race but rather illegality.
I am sure you have chosen not to know why Transgenderd folk feel threatened.
When I said I didn't know what you meant by, "Transgendered folk are openly targeted under the cover of "keeping women safe" (whether they want it or not)." I meant that I didn't know. I doubt that you'd want me to pretend that I did.
Because there are voices in the MAGA side of the GOP that want marriage returned to "traditional" heterosexual marriage only. It is not just about what the President-Elect has said, it is also about what those who back him have said. [PArticularly because I am not always sure who is the tail and who is the dog. Trump honestly believes he is using the far-right and Christain NAtionalists and they are convinced they are using him. Who is wagging who is not always clear.]
Voices... those who back him... Christian nationalists... any reputable sources for such claims? Even some names?

The unemployed Americans are either unable or unwilling to do the agricultural work gor the pay that is offered.
Okay. They might be more willing to, jim, if the pay was increased. How to do that while making food costs lower, I've no clue.
I did not claim he would do those things. Others want to do that and the believe he gives them permission to do that.
Others? Who?
...There is a lot more in Project 2025 that is even scarier. Many of the young men who voted for him believe, "Her body; my choice."
Trump has distanced himself from Project 2025. That some nutty people drew up a plan with his name in it doesn't mean that it's his plan

Rick Wilson: Matt Gaetz.

We're going to hear a lot more about his connections to the teenage sex ring (Venmo, Joel G, etc.), "The Game" in Tallahassee, the dead guy in the dorm room, the DUIs...it's going to be a long, long confirmation

Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson is a grifter in the truest sense of the word. How anyone can take this guy serious about anything political is beyond me at this point. His only stock & trade is just grifting of the lucrative anti-Trump business.

GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz resigned from the House Wednesday, Speaker Mike Johnson announced, the same day that Donald Trump announced that he had tapped the Florida firebrand to be his attorney general.

He spoke at their gathering. Many of his appointees are part of Project 2025. His disavowal was just one more of his many lies.

Believe what he spoke at was a meeting of the Heritage Foundation, out of which group came Project 2025. Which means, if anything, he'd some kind of influence on the group, rather than that the plan's his. What you say about many of his appointees, I don't know about "many," but at least some have been, that's true. Neither of those things make Project 2025 Trump's plan, and he has distanced himself from it

Am waiting on you, Redbaron. The ball, you know where it is
You can repeat that untruth till you're blue in the face. It will still be untrue. You have never moved the ball out of your court. The original question still awaits your response.

Er... No. The ball's in your court, Redbaron, as was made clear long enough ago. I don't mind waiting for you. Really, it's okay. I have other fish to fry

Either respond to the request for any existing intelligent TRump answers to serious questions, or admit you are unable to do so. Do not waste my time by quoting me. I know what I wrote.

Whether you love or hate Elon, you can’t deny he’s sparking something that the establishment might find… a little unsettling.

Elon Musk, of all people, stirring up a whole generation of young men who were previously checked out from anything to do with government or politics. Suddenly, they’re starting to question things, dig deeper, and look at how the system really works. This is a massive shift that no one saw coming! Because let’s face it – an engaged, curious population that’s asking hard questions and seeking answers is the kind of force that can reshape entire systems. The current power structures thrive on apathy and disinterest, on people just going about their business and leaving the “big decisions” to others. But now? These young minds are waking up. And it’s something no algorithm, no poll, no statistic can quantify. It’s a movement that’s stirring under the surface, driven by a curiosity to understand how things really work, beyond the headlines and soundbites. Because knowledge is power. And once these young people start questioning and understanding the system, they might just decide they want a say in changing it.

May very well do that after your play. The ball, again, Redbaron, is in your court
