What made Jesus so compelling?

This reminds me. On a Reddit sub this week, an international student was looking for a Methodist Church in Toronto.

It was explained that the Methodists in Canada mostly joined the United Church. The poster went on to say, "And they're not really Christians anymore."

Not real Christians anymore due to harsh protocol? They were forbidden to be fluid and flowing ... like matter coming off the mound ... tel amire?

These may be genetic relations ... virtue unknown(s) ... to sum up!

It is interesting how sometimes death can validate and elevate a cause.
Sometimes I wonder if Jesus welcomed martyrdom.

And did he really predict he would rise again on the third day,? He might have been thinking of the Jonah story.

Well that is clearly the case. The story says he was god incarnate, who knew he would have to die it was all prewritten was it not. Gods plan and all.
vicarious redemption/substitutionary atonement, jesus died for your sins.

Crucifixion was horrific. But I have always wondered how much sacrifice was involved if Jesus was God and knew he would be resurrected in 3 days.

A few other things to think on.

If Jesus is God, then how do we know he really suffered? Is it possible to inflict physical pain on an immortal, omnipotent entity? Maybe Jesus was just faking it for the crowd.
If Jesus willingly went to the cross, wasn't it then a suicide? Isn't suicide a Big Bad Sin? There seems to be a very fine line between sacrificing yourself and committing suicide.
If it was all planned from the start, then it certainly was not a sacrifice. He must have used his God-Magic to manipulate events and ensure that the crucifixion occurred. This would include making Judas betray him. So why is Judas so reviled? If he acted with Jesus' blessing. Christians should admire him. Without Judas they might not have been saved.

As a writer I naturally think of schtuff like that :3

Doesn't some literature state that God is subtle regarding the understanding facet? Thus undergrounds form their own spheres ...

It gives depth to a sphere o' logical myth ... that you cannot from a hard straight line ... it plunges without a turnaround ...
