Room For All

Elimination does exist for saying something strange ... again we can see why the Stranger of Galilee was eliminated ... because of presenting strange topics ... that people never considered before.

There are those on this site that I suspect would shoot or hang me because of their empowered beliefs!

Mendalla ... eliminate me, wipe me off the board for stuff that you can't understand! Was it Shaw that stated 3 things are required:
  1. Love
  2. Desire to learn about the Great Unknown
  3. Kindness when going someplace strange
I am familiar with how these are denied in a trinity! You learn when dealing with executive of the secular empire-ism!

Expect that I was just testing the kindness factor that isn't good in stoic environments. Recently I've heard too many affiliates in life demand their opposition be killed, hung, or otherwise introduced to silence! There is an growing opposition out there ... even if the secular does not believe in OBI's ... remember if eliminated ... its beyond yah and no one else to blame!

Defines closed boards, well planked ...

Come on executive ... do what you do best ... EXECUTE ... or in other words eliminate and deny as the rights allow freedom to do whatever you volition tells you with use of irrational exuberance!

Thus I will be removed from their comprehension ... a consequence of will in a fleeting state! Fey like a dark pit AH? So simple to fall into ... bloody elle in IR light ...

Good morning! Snow, slush, wind, trees breaking, as well as other topics spring up. We gather round the Coffee Cart, to chat and create community. May we remember that the Room was created to be a safe place for all.

This, from the OP in this thread, and a quote from the OP for the Room for All in the first WC:

In November 2010 I started a thread on Wondercafe called "Room For All". My hope was that it would be a safe space to share life's joys, challenges, celebrations, concerns, and the everyday bits of our lives that make us who we are. Little did I know that this concept for a meeting place in wondercafe would catch on so well that it would continue for days, weeks, months and years....3 1/2 years so far! It warms my heart that so many people have contributed to the welcoming caring nature of this thread. All aspects of life have been shared on the "Room For All" thread during its time on wondercafe. My hope is that it will continue it's legacy of caring and sharing here on the new Wondercafe2. Welcome! There is room for all!

Quoting from the original Room For All thread:

"I am opening the doors wide in this thread. The room is big, the room is inviting, the room is warm.....there is room for all. Enter in and bring with you whatever you like....you may add decorations to fill the space, you may offer food to nourish others, you may bring only yourself and tell us how you're doing. You are welcome here. I'll be happy to see you and sit for a while. Please continue to welcome others as they enter in and if I'm not in sight, please tend to their needs. This is a busy union station of people coming and going. Let's make sure that everyone is recognized and that their needs are met. If they are happy, let's share in their joy. If they are sad, let's offer them an ear, a hug and a caring heart. If they are lost, let's offer them hope that they'll find their way and perhaps some guidance. If they are hungry, let's feed them. There is room for all."

Let us remember and honour the reason for this room. All are welcome; all is ready. Come on in, and relax.

Good morning @Redbaron and everyone else who seeks this space for company. Today I embark on a scary task…As you know my mom has dementia. She is very attached to her purse which is large, crammed with who knows what, and has a broken zipper. I bought her a new one and today will begin the transfer. Maybe this should be on the declutterring thread! Anyway, wish me luck. I suspect it will be tense. Her purse now is too heavy for her so that is one reason for the purse makeover.

Well that was a partial fail. Mom couldn’t work the clasp on her new purse. So we cleaned out her old purse and I replaced her heavy wallet with a skinny one. I think she is happy to have her old purse but with a significantly lightened load. Why we’re old wallets so bulky anyway?

Well that's one step done @Nancy. I hope it works for her.

I had to be at the hospital at 7:45 this morning for my regular scans. I got the nuclear injection then went straight to CT. We followed that with breakfast at a cool little local restaurant that has a great reputation. For good reason as it turns out. My actual bone scan was at 10:30. I'm home before noon with my feet up and nose in a book. Fingers crossed for continued stable scans.

Glad your scan went efficiently. I have one tomorrow that will leave me HUNGRY unless I eat breakfast at 5 am. Oh well - there are fast food places nearby.

They are great at this hospital. They always take me from the nuclear medicine where they inject the isotopes to the CT scan. Going out for breakfast between the injection and the bone scan is a tradition. This was a new to us restaurant. We'll be back.

This is one of the cases where I dislike it that you are frequent flyers. You should be recognized mainly in your neighbourhood and your grocery store and local pub.

Talked to a friend about this yesterday. I hate it when I stop seeing regular customers, and I have to guess that they are dead. I rarely find out.

If I'm lucky, the customers have family who tell me, or if they're just moving away they tell me (like my elderly German friend whose wife passed and he went out west to be with a daughter, but he let me know before he left and I told the other cashiers). The rest just become memories.

Sounds to me like a good bit of success Nancy, rather than a partial fail. Well done you.

Good morning! Lighter purses and skinnier wallets, stable scans for 'frequent flyers,' missing the regular customers, for all these and other things, the Coffee Cart is ready to host your conversations. May the day be good for all. (Happy Friday, btw). The coffee is brewed, the water for te si hot, all ia ready. Come on in and join in!

I have a certification earned which is relatively important in my field and requires CPEs to be earned and recorded.

I am crappy at anything re recording. Timesheets is the regular thing i neglect.

Anyhow with the last year being insane and the year before not much better, it slipped.

Now I can't help but do the training required, it's in my nature, but...the last few weeks have found me going back and getting evidence or when I couldn't get decent evidence, I had to do courses.

As of last night, I have enough points, and by end of week should have additional points recorded.

Whoosh. Glad to get it done

stable scans

Unfortunately there has been some progression in these scans. My wonderful GP Oncologist and I had a good talk yesterday. She gave me some information on treatment options. I'll see the oncologist on the 25 so will know better then. I'll see the GP Oncologist after that. I'm so thankful for my awesome GP Oncologist and the relationship we have.

Our warm spell is over. This cold snap won't last.

My oncologist appointment on the 25th is now in person. I'm glad for that. It will be easier to digest information while being in the same room as the doctor.
