Room For All

I will have junior and wife for Christmas eve- and we are getting Chinese take out as we did last year. We have several chinese places around here, but only one good one.
On the 17 th I will make rouladen dinner. Friends and family can’t wait and I haven’t made it in years. You need to find a butcher to cut the meat so thin that you can fill it and roll it up. There was a German butcher in Halifax I would get it from, but I haven’t gotten there yet and I am not sure he is even still there.
The Christmas tree cutting with my Korean neighbours was a full success. I warned them to come with boots- after the rain, we waded through a couple of inches of mud. They decided to get a tree of their own.

Good morning! Seems that Christmas preparation is in full swing, shopping and wrapping, dinners and trees et all. In the midst of all the business, let us take some time to gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart, to breathe and relax, converse and ponder, and take part in virtual hot beverages. All is ready, come and get it!

No real plans for the holidays right now. No one in the extended family has talked about a Christmas get-together and we still don't know the kids' plans so can't really take it on ourselves. Been emailing a lot with littlest brother of late (due to Movember) so may ask him.

Does your son still celebrate Christmas?

I have known people of other faiths who participate in certain secular aspects of Christmas.
And, of course, sometimes their celebrations overlap, too. I don't think any Eids (Muslim festivals) overlap this year but Hanukkah usually does, or at least is usually quite close.

I have also known Jewish people who dislike Hanukkah being conflated with Christmas in any way.

It is funny that a winter break should be associated with an ironic hole in the dark irony of our supposed intellect ... a deficient quality?

Blind emotional period of time when thought is put down!

Please explain
Christmas aligns with so many of our culture's values...such as inclusivity, love, equality, charity...

Similar to when Stephen Colbert quipped Reality has a Liberal Bias :3

(so its funny whenever I hear right wingers try that Left Wing can't meme.

they forget that Left wing memes are so prevalent that they are an integral part of the culture lol)

Good morning! We think of all the different holidays and holy days of many different religious traditions, or of no religious traditions (think: Festivus). To all we wish joyful and safe celebrations, For those who mark no holidays, have a safe wonter! The Coffee Cart is up and running, for conversation and virtual hot drinks. All are welcome. Come on in!

Thus we are sucked up into the dark and stormy night ... as the dark mystery of rest feeds on our brain spirits ... consequence: lost thoughts!

The Sounds of Silence calms my emotions and thus calm passion is MS Pelt ... only the skin of the horse remains ...

Real folk despise depth when overly entangled in Biill 'n Time like lawyers that do not know the metaphor of Menorah in law represents a man*hore fork ... those are tines not times ... thorns in one side or the alternate ...

Darkness ... a time of abstraction! Some say a'Mire deduction ... Im Ire ... and yet un seeable ... poor perspectives by the alternates? Small support may mean the real earth may collapse ... leaving space for what else ... a query regarding quanta? Some say that's Wanda waving a stick ... Magi-C? All in your head they also say ... confinement? There's something further there ... mores?

Do you identify a Latin thorn with r's? Those that work for the greater good need a rest ... then the entire supported wealth collapses ... as some economists have predicted. Recess ... when the thing is blown out of proportion to the sentient ... excess????

Good morning! Thursday has arrived. The Coffee Cart is once again up and running, as a gathering place of the spirit, for conversation and community, and virtual hot beverages of all kinds. Come on in and join in!

Is "Oni" an aberration of the Hebrew word led by "Heh" rare space or dimension ... thus lands of Honey being milked dry? Cross line jump ... as in leaper Zae ...

Alien virus fragments can achieve this ... to maintain quantum degrees of magnitude ... beyond that? We don't know much ...
