Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Good morning! We ponder the seeming decrease in widows, and increase in widowers, and remember to send condolences to the cousin and their family. Along with this, and the other topics that will surely arise, we gather round the Coffee Cart for conversation and community. All is ready, come on in.

How much room is required for all the spirits and essences of hard humanity that are deceased and now demented ... just past as eliminated to expanding space? Tis a miracle of deduction ... like the news of how ordinary people take iconic criminality as a sign to do things ... the problem of federal assistance for COVID or just prized corruption?

Can some of this passing ova be indicative of the problem claimed to be an enigma ... that we don't wish to resolve ... thus the thing smoulders underfoot ... base???? Grey nit ...

I had a traffic experience a day ago that was evidence of human stupidity ... drive defensively is a crazy expression when aggression is prized! Separates the human body (soma) from soul ... thus psychosomatics as divine study!

Lots of people in my area have their PTSD triggered by this latest tragedy - including my son, who was among the first on the scene.

Can you imagine human avarice for causing stress (PTSD) on the entire system as the unknowing demands an upper hand? The brutes have all the freedom to deny stress has anything to do with mental departure ... it is just how it goes!

And mother nature would never turn against avarice ... in their wildest dreams ... thus we VAD its ... a word of disaster from the trans Alps ...

So, I fell in the shower this morning, didn't knock out the legs of the big guy, thank Godde. Do have a bit of a gash and a bruise on my arm after hitting the wooden "shower stuff" shelf on my way down. A regular sized bathtub is really not big enough for us. We need a 6' tub.

Don't know how to process this bus accident in Manitoba, so I'm largely trying to listen only to what CBC reports on CBC Music. I did see some footage of the cleaned up scene, and it looks like it was horrific.

Bathtubs and showers are dangerous places. Do be more careful!

You are quite right. At the least, this tub needs a mat that has some grippies on it. We are a very big person, 6'5 and 300 lbs and a very small person, 5'1" and 115 lbs. It needs some careful working around, and that is not my natural habit, being one of those rather small flittering people by nature.

Maybe the big guy would install a side handgrip for you?
Hope you feel better.

Oh, I'll be just fine. Just whining. Nice when you actually know WHY you have a bruise. There is a sturdy sidebar. It's a pretty safe shower, but shower gel is slippery, no mat, and not enough room for us.

It was a lovely sunny day, perfect temperature. We spent much of the afternoon in the backyard, reading, with the dog. Back yard is adjacent to a pretty well used cat walk, so a bit of convo with neighbours. Very pleasant. Then nice chicken with pineapple and fried rice for supper.

Good morning! We think today of the people of Dauphin, especially of those involved in the horrific accident on Thursday, we remember those in Saskatchewan experiencing flashbacks to the Broncos bus accident, we raise issues of slippery bathtub surfaces, and relief that the injuries aren't as serious as they could have been, and we bring up whatever else may be on our minds. We bring it all to the Coffee Cart, chat over tea and coffee, offer a listening ear, and deepen community ties. All is ready, come and join in.

Are many injuries to humanity created by a dash of not enough care and caution? Thus my soul sloes as the physical part keeps ripping through the great unknown ... all mostly unseen because of secular limits ... close to mortal?

Relax, it is further useless words ... non pragmatic?

Good morning! NS has had more rain, thankfully, all fires are put out. I am working of getting all three rain abrrels i stalled, as we are more likely to get dry weather in the future. I am also attaching a rain gutter to my gazebo, directing the water into my flowerbed. My peas are very happy growing and blooming, dominating the three tomato plants next to them.
Tonight will be father’s day supper at my friend’s house. My father would be 105, had he not died at 79.

That appears pragmatic ... yet still just further words for those that don't like to understand them! Literature is said to interfere with activity ... for obvious rational.

Thus it may rest there ...

Completely, and I do have to be more careful. I am a quick moving little critter, but because he is so big (and if he goes down, getting him up is a feat that requires engineering skills), he has learned to move very carefully. Having me unexpectedly underfoot is dangerous

I just ordered new computer for personal use. It's the first computer I've bought purely for myself in eons. I have generally used either ones bought by my wife or my work computer. However, with us tightening up management of work devices, I've decided I really do need to separate personal stuff (like my writing and foruming) from work stuff.

Here's the cute part. 24 years ago, almost exactly now, I started at the company where I still work and the first thing I had to do was buy myself a computer (there was no IT department until I came along). I bought an Acer Travelmate laptop, our standard at the time. Guess what I just bought for myself? ;):giggle:

Of course, the one I just bought would leave that old one in the dust and runs Windows 11 Professional vs. Windows 98SE. Though I might get bold and replace Windows with some flavour of Linux eventually. Still thinking about that one.

Oh how I've battered myself up by times ... just trying to rush the dash for someone else without respect!

My hubby and the kids were greatly amused by the safety bars that were already installed in the bathrooms in this house when we bought it. They all thought they should be removed because they are ugly and are only for old people. My thoughts differed. Strangely, we have become older, developed more health issues......
