I've never thought in terms of numbers of words. Our major papers in university and now in seminary tend to be around 10 pages, double-spaced. I did do one 106-page directed research project in university.Personally, I have always liked shorter. Undergrad assignments were usually 10,000 words minimum...Graduate assignments were usually only a page, and point form - which I found a breeze though others in the class whined and complained of the workload.
Hear hear! You win one tyrannosaur.Women have no need for writing or for any education at all. Training in unquestioning obedience is quite enough.
For undergrads, I see no value whatever in 10,000 word assignments. The size of the project makes the learning part impossible. Assignments in point form are of no value whatever at any level. Most university teachers don't have a clue about how to teach, and they really don't want to know. there's no prestige in teaching.
Question: Why are there robots listed as being on this site?
I imagine what youIt's the indexing software (variously called spiders, crawlers, robots, and so on) for sites like Google, Bing, etc. coming in to collect the latest data from the site so it is searchable in their search engines. There is a way to block robots but having us indexed in the major search engines improves our visibility so we don't do it.
What about who gets listed only in the etc? Poor majestic-12 - or whatever it is.I imagine what youto write there Mendalla was, "...sites like Bing, Google, etc...." It's important who gets listed first and who gets listed LAST.

I just through that in, as at the time the robots here were a few from Google, Bing, and the majestic one, seemed to be from the UK.A lot of the etc. are more regional type search engines. For instance, looking at the current robot list, I see the usual suspects (Bing and Google) plus Baidu, China's top search engine, and Yandex, which appears to be based in Central Asia (their site lists presences for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Turkey).
Likely the ones Jae lists, too, though I think Ask Jeeves is buying results from either Bing or Google now as is Yahoo! (which has a longterm partnership going with MS including getting search results via Bing).
Hard to believe the months are going by so fast. The last of February is upon us.
I'm sure the owl will appreciate itLast after a quilting day. I made a lovely owl quilt top.
