Is this something the protester is requesting?

If the schools teach kids that there are animals, and said animals have sex - that's okay. What is problematic is if the schools are going to teach the kids that they may be animals and thus should be out there having animal sex.

Why are you pretending to be stupid again?

Is that your concern? Have you seen any evidence to back up that concern?

Mae

you are SUCH a cock tease :3

(oops at the slip! originally wrote SUCK...;3)

Okay, well, there's this from the article (which I have cited above) - "Grade 10: Demonstrate an understanding of factors that enhance mental health. Describe factors that influence sexual decision making. Describe some common misconceptions about sexuality in our culture, and explain how these may harm people. Explain how being in an exclusive relationship with another person affects them and their relations with others."

My questions...

  1. What factors are they going to teach enhance mental health? For that matter, how are they going to define mental health?
  2. What misconceptions about sexuality are they going to teach exist in our culture, and in what way are they going to claim that they harm people?
  3. When they teach about exclusive relationships, what will they say are the ways they affect people? Are they talking about exclusive sexual relationships here, and, if so, will they teach that sex is best left until after marriage?

There is anima sects and non anima sects ... the anon-anima version being a' muse in ... and thus distanced from the celibate ... as farce IDe intercourse .. or the discourse that goes on out of the here and now ...

St Francis believed this a funny herd ...

Well, how shocking is that? Somebody actually read the curriculum and found it wasn't what its most vocal opponents said it would be.

Kudos to Pastor Kevin for demonstrating A) reading comprehension skills B) a commitment to truth and C) a level headed and fair-minded approach to the issue at hand.

Campaign Life Coalition could really go far if it demonstrated even a shred of Pastor Kevin's intelligence and integrity.

Let's hope his refusal to jump to conclusions and swallow whole the fabrications of others isn't a rare quality or commodity among Pastors of all denominations.

I do wonder how folk previously so sure that Campaign Life Coalition spoke honestly and accurately about the new curriculum will hear their complaints?

Well. That was embarrassing. Sorry I missed that takedown of MPP McNaughton. What a beautiful job of belling the cat.

And after getting served in the Legislature MPP McNaughton himself puts the finishing touch on the takedown by accusing Wynne of accusing him of being homophobic.

She asked him if she was "especially unqualified" because:
Is it that I am a woman?
Is it that I am a mother?
Is it that I have a Masters of Education?
Is it that I was a School Council Chair?
Is it that I was a Minister of Education?

Those are the questions she asked. Notice the one question that would have suggested that McNaughton was homophobic is absent.

Is it that I am a Lesbian?

Not asked by the Premiere.

She did not lead the horse to any particular well and she certainly didn't force the horse to drink from any particular well.

I suspect everyone was anticipating that question to come and I'll bet McNaughton was sweating bullets that it would come.

While other Liberals heckled MPP McNaughton that they new the "real reason" it was Education Minister Sandals who actually alleged McNaughton was homophobic not Wynne.

So afterwards when the Ontario Tories went into Caucus where was McNaughton a party leader candidate?

He was outside with the Campaign Life Coalition (Yes, the same group Pastor Kevin upthread points out is well, dishonest.)

If politics is optics then one has to wonder why McNaughton thinks he is leadership material.

The debate exposed a schism in the Conservative party, which was evident in the legislature after Sandals told the Tories if they take power, “You could vote to opt out of teaching about evolution, too.”

“That’s not a bad idea,” bellowed PC MPP Rick Nicholls (Chatham-Kent-Essex).

You can feel the wrath of the other PC MPPs from here. McNaughton "goes there", and Nicholls speaks up in favour of creationism.

This is how the Liberals can completely screw up with gas plants and other political disasters, and still win a majority in Ontario: The PCs look like idiots. So, Ontario, do you vote for dishonesty, or stupidity?

We always complain about having no one to vote for, but now it's getting out of hand.
