Ours is gone. We have had temps above zero most of the week after a very cold last weekend.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your uncle,
Northwind. It sounds like he had a long and productive life, and was allowed to die when his time came. I fit in the group that doesn't approve of keeping people alive just because we can. Sure, we should make every effort if a vibrant life is still possible, but not when the remaining life would be restrictive and maybe painful.

Memories ... some people believe life is made of meme auras and some dispose of memes altogether as they were considered nonsense connected to the conjuring of a psyche ... thus the entire thing is going through collapse ... just look at the general fallacy of logic that surrounds us due to emotional flaming highs ... anything within range is cooked! May the psyche resemble the gates of hell in some regards if a person has nor regard of anything with due respects?

Respectfully that went ... a gheist-like breeze ... leaving nothing but the smell! Such things surpass the olfactory bulb ... entering the stinking mind complex ...

I know people that claim the mind is an impossibly difficult complexity! Thus it is rendered down for tanning hide in stuff in a purse-like containment ...

If part of your great unknown does this support lost sols in the pool ... suspect to be dark and abstract? It is up there ... reminding me of the question yesterday about greater unknown powers that are subtle ... the rendered may not see them as obvious! More for consumption in the common communicants ...

Rare underlings as sub lin' que? Thongs ...

He had health challenges over the past year or so. I'm sure he was ready.

This is an article about him from a few years ago. Bruce Lepper There are photos of some of his work online when you google his name.

'It was a dark and stormy Black Friday...' Not really, but the day did start out very cloudy, and there were a few drips of rain-like stuff. Anyway, did anyone join the insanity at the malls and stores? (All I did was get some groceries). Hand cleaning solutions, memories of departed loved ones, and much more to talk about. The Coffee Cart is up and running, come on in and help yourself.

I read that Black Friday was pretty quiet here. People weren’t in a rush to the maps this year - I did read it picked up a bit in the evening but it wasn’t super busy. I don’t know how old it is - maybe 10-15 yrs? …since it became a recognized thing here? I know it crept up here from the US. Wasn’t a thing growing up. Just pre-Christmas sales and Boxing Day.

Also, Covid is still circulating. Maybe it’s because people got into the habit of avoiding shopping. There’s a whole new generation who wouldn’t be sad to see malls go.

No frantic rush to dispose of our money on this highly advertised day. We have never bought into it and yesterday was no exception. We both have what seems to be a common cold. My partner wore his mask to pick up some milk and a couple of frozen Utility grade chickens. There will be economical chicken stew, soup, pot pies etc. in our futures!

In the same vein:

Child: looks under bed Mommy, is it true that The Bible says from dust we come and to dust we go?

Mommy: Yes, dear

Child: Well come have a look. Someone is either coming or going under here.

Dust is how chimera of bunnies grow into monsters that those with insecurities will state do not exist ... until an alternate has to clean up the mess left behind by the brute that couldn't accept all actions have reactions that reflect on the character developed from nothing ...

Some label this naivete ... other say it is just ignorance produced by less thinking than should have been produced by excessive desires.

All this considering then minimal resources that we have to work with and the powers declare should be wasted in placing them on top of the pile ... thus chit builds nothing out of somethhing mist and gone by as a powerful Passover as iconic. In other traditions this is labeled a Semite ... and small Ci Mighty muse ...

Words are often manipulated by those wishing to change courses that we never meant to alter ... thus distortion! It never looks the same later ... and there are those that say it is the same when it isn't as all used and withered ... figgy duffed ... as unreasoned! It is where we are in the land of irrationality for the experience ...

Abstract monsters of unknowns under the bed? That was well laid out ... thus the dark mysteries imposed as a projection for the stellar place that is incomprehensible! Sometimes labelled a dome or Basil-like construct like bones of a veil to keep mire out of the neural 'd issues? Place for the pure UN thought so that something has a place to seep towards ... it may be less than positive as a swamp or cistern of observation of things we were told should be of poor resolution ... and perpetually unresolved! Ire resolution after the fits ...

Damn it, my post in Nebulous' new Christmas Songs thread got me listening to the Moody Blues' December, both their Christmas album and their last ever studio album. Since it dropped, we've lost flautist-singer Ray Thomas and drummer Graeme Edge (just last year). And Graeme's death put an end to the band. The two survivors still use the Moody's social media channels but it's to promote their solo work and tours. When I realized Ray sings the second verse of "When A Child" I teared up. Much as I love lead singer-guitarist Justin Hayward, Ray has always been my favorite Moody.

I did a bit online yesterday.
Chemguy did some running around, we had set up a grocery order a few days ago for yesterday not thinking of the day and Chemguy set it to the wrong location (both are close). I did a bulk barn order and forgot it's ready within hours (got the call while he waited for groceries), meds plus some rapid tests for Christmas gatherings from the pharmacy and he decided to grab some bubble tea between stops. I did see lineups of cars at lights on my way back and forth to treatment.

I didn't do any black Friday shopping yesterday. I did go to our local yarn store to get two balls of sock yarn to make socks as Christmas presents. I also had lunch with two other women who I met through a breast cancer resource. It was very nice to chat with friends who totally understand. On a side note, everytime I write "breast" it gets flagged for spelling. Apparently it needs an s on the end.

So today I'm knitting a sock I started yesterday while watching Manifest on Netflix.

I stopped into Marks after work to look for some good socks. The ones they had on sale were all acrylic. I still believe in part wool socks. Picked up working had lotion. Only one person in front of me at the cashier. Not busy at all.
