I'm having a f*** cancer period here. A lovely church friend, a previously very active 92 year old, an English war bride, with a gentle spirit and a questioning mind, has recently been diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer. She's hoping to die at home, perhaps with medical assistance.

Another really nice man, sits behind me, his wife is related to my late husband's family. This started as prostate cancer, and he only has days or weeks now. Sent him 70th birthday wishes, adding that 'we' (Grace) would look after Carol (his wife).

My dog walking friend and neighbour has a lovely second wife who is also battling cancer. She fell this morning and poor Jim had to call the paramedics to get her up and safely back to bed before he came down to walk Lucy. He let me know when he got here that he will be less reliable about picking up Lucy for her walk (he's normally here within a minute of 7:22) due to having to ensure that Beth is up and stable before he leaves.

So yeah, right now, f*** cancer.
Hugs Bette. Horrible thing to see happen to good friends.

I met up with a former neighbour in the grocery store yesterday, and we must have chatted for over half an hour. We were very mindful about keeping out of the way of other shoppers though. Then today, at the drug store, I met up with that lady I told you about in the Leadership thread and we visited for at least 20 minutes. I felt like I was back in my small town days in Fort Frances where every shopping trip became a lovely chance to catch up with neighbours and friends. Who needs telephones?

Here here to taking time to chat amidst the groceries with daily life swarming all around. Such an important thing to snatch those moments whenever we can.
Yah, cancer - also swarming all around us it seems. A close friend of mine too is coping with a recent diagnosis. I suppose it's our age & stage of life that makes it ever so much more common, although it's always been with us. Hugs to all - we're doing the best we can day by day.

My 92 yrs olds are moving out on the 28 th. She has been packing every day and night. It’s basically a hoarder situation, but all with “ good useful stuff”. She has been rummaging with it every night since they moved here 4 years ago, downsizing from a larger home into two bedrooms. I am hesitating to offer help. She has a daughter who comes every day. It is not that she doesn’t want to get rid of anything, it is just very overwhelming. They made sure they got another two bedroom apartment where they are going and the spare bedroom will just be full of stuff in boxes- as it was here. Just hoping she is not going to trip over anything before she moves- no chance for a stretcher to go anywhere.

Good morning! For living spaces with lots of backyard to play with, for 'apartments on wheels' for which no yardwork is required; for neighbors preparing to move, for friends and family lost to cancer (and telling cancer to f*** off), for chats in supermarkets, and all the other topics we bring up, hear we have open ears and caring hearts. And coffee, tea hot chocolate, etc. C'mon in, take a load of your feet and off your mind.

If understanding, learning and knowledge is a quality that is hated ... through such emotions of forte as reinforced behind walls ... do we lose something while at loose terminal conditions and running out of resources but dreaming of going where physical beings find existence difficult?

Thus cell you liars creep in ... and the absentee concept was sold ... with consequence that cannot be reasoned with because reason was emotionally disposed and wasted liberally by those conserving god knows what ... you can bet it was misinformation as initiate!

Can initiate be a spontaneous introduction? Thus if flamed and was not cool or Kohl 'r than believed ... chilling thoughts?

You know there mas to be mores to support ET as it ascends ... beamer of Levite nature ... maybe described as fey or Fa off in nature ... Ephraim of something intangible! Construct your own ... the great mystery would like to hear about your mythology! The process of how you function with poor understanding ... this continues ...

Reason??? it too is a great unknown given what we understand is very little as it incarnates (appears as isn't) and few can get their head about that ... may resemble a clam or other invertebrate where the bones of the story are exterior ... a portion just scull about ... remember the authorities report that voirtue does not need to be affiliated or in any way connected ... as an error in that old conspiracy that there should be two equal pillars ... power and beauty ... like the mystery of a deep mind! Our world hates such sources and labelled them as source Eire ... mind control is ultimate they say ... but ultimately it appears a failure ... the disposal of psyche I mean!

It may be myth O logical ... of zero interest to vast power mongers! Follow the money ... then dash ... take a run for it ...

I just heard a radio advertising on German radio:

” Honey, I just doubled the value of our car!”
” How that?”
” I filled the gas tank”
( advertisement for using the train)

Seems a thermodynamic legacy when the world heats up for another cool off ... physical dealing with energy that is not physical matter ... but alternate to matter and poorly understood it seems ... anti matter? Provides energetic failure ...

May appear as a consuming concern to learn about when those ignoring it ... demand we not concern ourselves! Unreasonably we diminish ...

Picked kale from our garden late this afternoon for a lake salad as requested by our daughter whose family is on the way here for the weekend to celebrate her 35th birthday. There is enough left in the garden for several more meals. Kale is a great late summer and fall crop.

Good morning! How is everyone? Public transit ads, freshly picked kale, all sorts of other conversations happening here. Come on in and join us. Coffee cart is ready, have a mug/cup of the hot beverage of your choice.

If one does not have some feeling for the entirety of creation ... do they lack sensations? Is this an absence of something as they say absence does something to you as it comes and going and thus gut feelings as profound? Knows chit ... or de chat's following ... shadow character as in Chatelaine for yah! Read into it for what Alice learned on her trip ...

Imagine 35 ... halfway folks ...

My brother is in hospital after having a syncope caused by his heart, now waiting for a pacemaker. He has been having those before and has had a monitor for a while but then they cleared him. He lives alone, so that was a dangerous situation. He has had his ”spell” while at the neighbours, so that potentially saved his life. He is 67.

The difficulty is the number of medical folk that haven't the faintest clue about this sense of harmony or neural/hormonal origins to the intellectual sensations ... that can tie one's gut in knots, etc. (about a bakers doz of irregularities).

That faint connect of body-sol!

That would be worrying Mrs A. I have seen all sorts of recommendations for keeping seniors in their own homes. Rarely do they address the lack of help for those times when something goes wrong. People don't always have an Alert gadget or cell phone in their hand when they fall down the stairs or feel a heart attack coming on. In my small town we have had people die because they lived alone who would have been fine if they had a companion.

Good vibes for your brother. Glad he was in company when it happened.

Snowing pretty steadily here this afternoon. Weird that I was out doing some final (probably) yardwork this weekend just a couple hours before it hit.

If it's snowing for you Mendalla - I'm guessing my neighbourhood might soon be getting some too! Your post made me whip my head around to look out the window - not yet, but very gray!
