Warm but rain today in NS. October is OT month and we are meeting as a group today to go to a “try out curling” event as well as having supper together. Since work got more and more stressful we have changed out October activities from “educating and raising awareness of OT” activities to “just having fun together”.

Oh yes, OT month! This retired OT had forgotten all about it.

Good idea to focus on having fun together. Quite frankly I always thought the promotion of OT stuff got a bit over the top sometimes.

Dang, OTs get a whole month? I think our RTs only get a week. I know we usually have gifts for our team and sometimes sponsor related events.

Weather is a bit variable here. Cold, windy, and supposed to be a chance of showers though we are getting lots of sunny breaks, too.

Survived a full day meeting yesterday (all the IT teams from across our group save one company). Got another day and half one for all the managers from work coming up next week. Bloody Hell, with all these damn meetings, when am I actually going to work? (to be fair, meetings are kind of part of the job description when you have "manager" in your title).

My OTs used to have the very best themed parties & events - back when parties could actually happen!! Tacky Tourist party, Royal Wedding (Charles & Di et al) processing thru the cafeteria, Mother-in-law shower, How to eat an artichoke night, Halloween happenings ... so many good memories, and so much great food! Fun to reminisce.

It is so gorgeous. Quilts are such gifts. I was visiting a friend at her cottage a few weeks ago, and in a quiet moment together (it was a gathering of friends), she told me that she'd started a quilt for me (in my favorite lavender scheme), but not to expect it until next spring/summer depending on project completions. I was so touched by the thought she'd already put into it, never mind the work.

German news today, the Russian occupants of Cherson in Ukraine have shot dead the conductor of the Philharmonic orchestra because he refused to participate in a concert that should show the “ reinstitution of a peaceful life”.

Where there is room for all anything, can be done without heed for any hinderances like thoughts for stranger things ... thus thoughts are out of the question regarding anything alien being looked into!

It appears as a human trait of appearing smarter than you believe even if you're not. With really whetted minds people can sharpen their wits until learning to cut out of the situation we're in ... allowing dictation of a lot of conditions of naivete directing folk right over the edge ...

What do we know of this psyche state? Very little as psyche things are frightening so the authorities just declare: "don't think" and we follow through ... that's critical to thinking ... thus cry Cis (opposes trans)! When lined up few understand ...

I see in the news that a Trump Staffer said that Trump really didn't wish to be Presidential material just a dictator-ism! He believed in none other could be noted ... but he didn't read intuit!

And outsiders question who caused dissonance in the Ukrainian populace ... a dictated item of Eris 'n concern!

I was once asked by an English Professor what was meant by Eris ... something I couldn't respond to because you cannot respond to an authority ... they claim you're talking back! I found such trends in all professions ... as they were impressed that they knew everything by their school's philosophy! There's alway smore!

Expressed differently because they wished no moor because of head aches ... as previous gathering fell out as quick as gathered ... fallibility?

We have similar prices here. Diesel was quite a bit lower priced than gas then it jumped up above the price of gas. Our gas prices were leaping up and up for no good reason. Imagine being happy that prices went down to $1.99 or so.
