I listened to an interview with an architect on CBC this morning. He was saying that the octagon (?) shape of the compartments in a bee hive is the perfect shape of support considering the consistency of the honey/ wax.
Another example of nature making something perfect. There are tons of examples like that.
Made me think: what went wrong with humans?
 
I just deleted my response. Not appropriate for this venue. Suffice it to say that I think nothing "went wrong" with humans in an evolutionary sense, only that we are too dull-witted to recognize the impact some of the abilities we gained through our evolution are having on us and the world.

Such coherence leads to large questions and thus curiosity of why we are here? Potentially to learn better ... nah that's not about to happen with all the rough lies as lyon out there ... waiting ... communications that will consume yah! Thus the infallible falls onus ...

It is crazy ... like the ancient word for wood (crazy) and where nymphs retreat to for reasons unknown!

If you haven't read it, Mrs.A, you might want to try it. It's dead funny, in a very deadpan way. You need the right sense of humour, for sure. (Just thinking it's time I re-read the series. There's probably two or three copies of all/most of it in the house, but probably easier to find at the library. (My books, my parents' books, both my kids' books, some of my sister's books, all co-exist uneasily around here.)

Quintessential but un noted ... as we don't know such expressions are said to be like God ... next to nothing ,,, and where things get started as nothing goes around especially in adolescence ... my grandfather had it labelled ... the female spirts do not like it spoken of due to certain missing portions ... epi st emo logy!

"42" - got it! It's going to be a 'rainbow day' here I think. Scattered rain & sun - excellent for appreciating the beauty of the autumn leaves. Will have to watch for those rainbows - but like all blessings, one must be alert for them or they can be missed.

Good morning. I'm hoping to finish a quilt I'm making for Victoria's Quilts. I got the material in the spring. It's about time they get it back in the form of a quilt. I worked on it yesterday. That included time with the seam ripper and an argument with the machine. :mad: Hopefully things will go smoothly today and I can get it done.

Warm but rain today in NS. October is OT month and we are meeting as a group today to go to a “try out curling” event as well as having supper together. Since work got more and more stressful we have changed out October activities from “educating and raising awareness of OT” activities to “just having fun together”.
 
O minus is representative of a negative trend when you delete something from nothing ... something goes down ... yet poly misunderstood ...
