We saw a news piece that said they are anticipating that the living brother may be similarly injured. That would suggest someone else was involved. The brother who died was found at James Bay Cree Nation.
I wonder if the survivors are providing other information that there are more than two? Or another car was stolen and the driver taken too?

Is APTN news down for everyone? I keep getting a message that I am blocked whenever I try.

Myles:
Although just 31, he had 59 criminal convictions since turning 18.
his parole records recount almost two decades of crime, as well as drug and alcohol abuse, and associations with gang members, pimps and drug dealers.

yet
Seven months before the mass killing in rural Saskatchewan, a parole official ruled that the key suspect did not pose a danger and that releasing him would help him become a “law-abiding citizen.”

A Parole Board of Canada decision dated Feb. 1 found that Myles Sanderson would “not present an undue risk,” and freeing him would “contribute to the protection of society” by facilitating his reintegration.

Odd Manitoba RCMP released this updated photo of the 2: The top right 2 were the initial ones I saw on social media where people were asking to get the word out, as Damien looks very different compared to the old picture RCMP and therefor news media was putting out.

Last I heard Sask RCMP were debating if they would release updated pictures of Myles (like the one on the left)

I feel like both were responsible. With the awful things they were doing, death was not a surprising outcome for at least one of them. Sad for the community but for Damien? Natural consequences even if it coming from his brother wasn't expected if that's what happened.

I suspect they were the products of a terrible environment. It is always a tragedy when human beings end up the way they did. That in no way excuses what they did.

I was mistaken on the community name. It was James Smith Cree Nation. I got my information from CBC I believe.
Ok one person I figured typo, you both had it.
Agreed on the upbringing, violent father and global covered other details. Many people go through that though without being violent themselves. Myles is definitely responsible for his violent actions. Damien likely is too although will keep an open mind as details come out. Based on the murder charge though seems likely he is responsible as well.

Good morning! As we watch with shock the events unfolding in Saskatchewan, as well as attending to events and concerns in our own lives, families and communities, let us gather round the coffee cart for debriefing, support, and, of course, hot beverages. All is ready.

If one observes the details through abors is not the entire thing shocking? Thus abor shun ... and lead into a gap y's something to jump ... treed arbors ... generating shades and shadows all about us as unseen hoers! Hallow weenies say horrors ... and still its insane ... no matter how said ...

Allow room for this in your daze in the cosmos:

In statistics what does confidence level have to do with data in places where high standards collapse because of unsatisfied desires on top of these columns?

Takes me back to the wonders of endogeneity and certain gaps that may mark Eros in laws ... loss? Thus it went ...

What do mortals have to do in eternity? They stare off in it not knowing what is coming (anon) because of thoughts getting entangled with emotional context ... the text being contra to the standard and thus being counterproductive to the survival of minor mortals! Great folks have vast fear that their child may be slaughtered rather than the alternate ... the latter too small a detail to be of comprehensible matter. Gone in a wisp ... carried off by Furies ... Myths? Simple Eire ...

Got home at 2 from our camping trip to Oka yesterday afternoon, unloaded the motorhome, and got two loads of laundry washed, hung in the line, and dried before supper. It was hotter here yesterday afternoon than anytime Saturday through Sunday. Three loads out on the line this morning. Now to go to work on the funeral service for Saturday. This afternoon will include pulling the not very good battery out of the motorhome and getting a replacement along with groceries.

I rarely trust what the media say - they get obvious facts wrong sometimes.

I noticed NO indigenous people out and about in town this morning. Probably concerned about being profiled/discriminated against AGAIN. Plus, of course, they likely know one or more dead or injured people.

I think in my case, it was poor memory...I got my information from the CBC website, and I'm sure when I saw James and Cree my mind filled in Bay not Smith.
