We wore our masks on the ferry at the end of April. We were in the minority.
A friend of mine went to Portugal. She came back with covid. I'm not sure how sick she is. That is one reason I'm in no hurry to go on big trips anytime soon
Eventually Covid itself will be the whistleblower.

Here we go again. The Chief Medical Officer and science roundtable are calling a seventh wave in Ontario based on a number of indicators. Read'em and weep. No mention of any response from the government as of yet

And I still don't know whether to go for 4th shot or wait for a more targeted booster that "may" be available in the fall.

Alberta has been sharing that data. I think it's just 3+ though not 3 and 4 split, I haven't looked recently.
Well I know it was the case with the other variants, but I'm curious with the B5 one.

Probably too soon to have decent data on that, especially here. Cases have been on a slight upward increase over the past 3 weeks, but are still lower than any other time this year, using wastewater as the basis.

I want good date on long term issues, breaking them down into groupings ie. loss of taste and smell, heart damage, brain damage, etc. vaccinations, other medications to prevent/treat COVID, plus risk factors.
From a population standpoint I think that is the bigger concern, at least for now, if people start getting sicker acutely that could change. Also what is the plan for dealing with healthcare long term.
Personally, that is my individual concern too.
There are some studies that way, but why aren't the provinces putting that out? (I think we know the answer to that).

Action, response ... is there reason to expect responsibility from independently mined politicians that are mined out ... wasted by overemotional stats? It is said intelligence is out there ... one has to gather and take off ... the way to get there is swim or take flight! Dippy ...

I always seem to fall into a grey area. Got confirmation for now. If covid positive yes to treatment. Evusheld is a no unless I actually use a medication option that was prescribed to me. That kinda lowers the bar for how bad my symptoms need to get to try it - especially as we approach fall.
7th wave is being mentioned here now. Calgary in particular, doubt it would have been mentioned this early in but the other provinces are a factor.
Huge Stampede plans this year will likely speed up the start.
