Good morning, all. Starting off nice here but there's nastiness (4-8cm of the white stuff, though they say a lot might melt on contact) coming later.

Back to the old grind today.
 
It was chapter 1 of Aspects of Faith. The response was from the newest person on my list who greatly appreciated the post. Chapter 1 was about testing our beliefs in the real world. Minus 5 here now. I will be reinstalling doors in our spare bedroom (storeroom door, main room door; tomorrow will install playroom door--our house has attic spaces beside the bedrooms rather than above them) this morning. Finished repainting the room on Saturday. Hope to take a long walk this afternoon.
 
Good morning. It's raining heavily here this morning. I was going to walk to the drug store to get my booster today. I'll be driving.
 
When it rains on the Island, it can really rain, sort of like Ontario. Stay dry and warm. As for flower pictures which people in BC love to send, the only flowers I have seen so far here are yellow coltsfoot, an invasive weed in eastern North America.
 
Let us know how that approach works. I've already tried the 'Peace! Be still!' thing, and nothing changed.
 
I went to get my booster today and couldn't. Their system was down so they couldn't give the shot. She took my phone number and said I could come anytime tomorrow. I decided to try to rebook instead. I tried online and because I've used the invitation code and my booking was in the past, I could neither book nor rebook. I phoned the number and was able to book a time on Friday. The woman on the phone was only marginally helpful. She did succeed in booking my appointment and that was all that was needed.

Yikes they aren't really making it encouraging when there are glitches.
Any clue how it would work for out of province? My father in law was eligible for the 3 primary series here and hasn't had a booster yet.
He has time as he wasn't getting them ASAP plus was working around when the best immune response was likely, so isn't even at 5 months yet let alone 6.
Right now he's back and forth between AB and BC as he hasn't officially retired yet, but that's changing soon.
With how he puts some things off I suspect the only way he will get a booster is if Chemguy or someone else sets it up.
Here the eligibility is based on steroids, so it's not like he will be rushing to get into treatment or something like that in BC. He is over 60 if that makes a difference.

Actually it was easy enough. I was annoyed about not getting it today so was a bit grumpy. I had a feeling I wouldn't be able to do it online. I was glad to get a real person even if she wasn't the brightest. It wasn't a big deal. Getting the shot on Friday is probably better anyway since I'll be at the end of my med cycle and at the beginning of rebuilding my immune system. I didn't want to get it too close to our departure on the 28th in case it made me feel crappy.

He would just have to phone the number. I know several people who have gotten their shots here as out of province folks.

I will definitely go out there sometime, but unlikely anytime soon. If anything, we would go to Calgary in the next few months to help with a few things there, plus there's at least one item we'll be taking. There are people who will help in BC, but they are moreso the ask us for help when you need it, not we will tell you things that need to be done.

Good morning! Outside the snow continues here. Sigh. Anyway, as we think of weather and vaccinations (and the fun times of booking them), and a lot of other topics, let us join around the coffee cart, for hot beverages and conversation. All is ready.
