Made it through a whole shift today with only one service refusal. I've seen her before; I'm not sure why she thinks I've changed my mind. Had her two teenaged daughters with her, both similarly unmasked. All she said was, "this is ridiculous", which is an interesting statement. What is ridiculous? That there is a global pandemic? That there are contagion rules around it? Obviously, she missed the history lesson about the waves of the Black Death in Europe, "bring out your dead! bring out your dead!"... I've decided that "this is ridiculous" is code for "I'm clearly special and you haven't figured it out".

I did my laundry today at a laundromat I've used several times before. It's one that is clean with lots of machines. The dryers are big and clothes dry quickly and well. When I went in there was a man saying something about how the RCMP could not enforce..... (didn't know the details) I didn't give it much thought. I loaded my clothes in the washer then got settled to wait. There were three men talking near me. One was the guy who had the RCMP line, one was the owner and there was another guy. None were wearing masks even though there was a sign on the door saying masks were required. It it is also a public health rule to wear masks indoors. Their discussion centred around the public health rules and were conspiracy focussed. There was talk of how DeSantis had it right and bow they'd like to move to Texas. Of course this is all a government plot. Needless to say I'm disappointed. I didn't need to hear that from the owner. I had things I wanted to say. I chose not to say anything because it wouldn't have been pretty. I'm tempted to talk to the health authority to see about reporting them. I may leave a review. I'd best sleep on it. Needless to say, as someone who is immunocompromised, I didn't feel safe and am considering not returning.

I'm a bit annoyed with work, official update come out today. They have rapid tests people can use for work purposes and if they run out they can expense buying them elsewhere.
There was also a comment about encouraging vaccination to help ease restrictions, nothing about keeping people safe.

Ridiculous is a matter of perspective ... if a line of sight could be considerate a matter! Even that can be altered and wends in the ether of the psyche ... non-space?

Thus perhaps it is not as it appears in the autonomous mind ... that's out there al alone! No connections possible because communication networks are down ... a problem in binding relationships ...

Gospel, truth, virtue and real may vary from where you stand in the abstract ...

We have rapid tests available now, apparently, but they aren't required for our offices. They are for staff who visit places that do require them like LTC and, oddly, our parent company (not that very many of us go there in person anymore since most of their office staff are remote or hybrid still). No vax requirement for our office yet, either, though I get the sense most of us are fully vaxxed, at least in my group. Beyond that, the rules we have had in place for the past year+ remain: Masked when outside your own office, even when there is social distancing possible, capacity limits on the lunch room (since masking obviously isn't always possible there) and meeting rooms, daily screener (we have an app now, which simplifies this greatly) before entering. I have a private office (privilege of being management) and generally keep my door closed when I am unmasked so I have a chance to put my mask on before people enter but I don't think that's actually officially part of the rules.

The computer messed up my reply! It was based on the sense of ridiculous denials ... of things past!

One has to respect such experiences of others even if we find them really alien in our own experiences!

Sort of like encountering foreign thoughts ...

Our company isn't requiring vaccination/proof. The tests are for unvaccinated going to sites where they are showing rapid test results instead of vaccine proof because other companies require it. I think people should pay for these tests themselves.

Thus testy types of modes ...

Apparently there will be some sort of covid restrictions/vaccination tantrum. Jamtheairports I don't understand the connection. I feel like preventing flights is more pro covid prevention measures?
Anyone understand the message it's trying to send?
Hopefully no one here has a flight tomorrow.

Oh, this dipshit again. He led a rally here to "support the police" that the police themselves wanted nothing to do with.

I have my doubts he really believes in his "cause". These events he keeps organizing seem more like a narcissistic show-off than an activist to me. Hell, he even called his own followers "losers". And, to be frank, anyone following him probably fits the bill. He's like Trump minus the money.

Speaking of dipshits, I really hope this guy loses his seat next year. If I was in his riding, my vote would be ABH (Anybody But Hillier). After getting booted out of caucus for anti-Semitic BS, he's become a COVID "gadfly" in the legislature, opposing mask and vaccine mandates at every turn.

And when I call these people dipshits, I am referring to their opinions and tactics. Obviously, I am not going to advocate jail time or anything and if they actually get the disease (non-zero chance) I will wish them a speedy recovery even if I do snicker a bit on the side. And if Hillier does lose his seat, I would certainly hope he finds new employment (though I seem to recall him being a farmer so maybe he still has that). I just don't want him having a say in how the province is governed.

Footnote: And I see our censorship rules don't pick up "s**t" in this context. Need to have a boo at that. I went through the same thing with mf a while back.

Cn a person post about things they know absolutely nothing about?

Sure they can when taking absolute freedom ... with the great unknown! However these powers will tend to diminish the illuminated .. and thus fiction about intellectualism, because to some darkness prevails ...

And the lights went out in GEO Gaia ... because there are large sects that would rather not see intuit (a form of imagination)!

Even sex appear stupid to them and they believe passions are thought out! Complexity and chaos are like that ...
