*sigh* Currently have 2 medical appointments up in the air now, until Chemguy knows his COVID tests. Phototherapy actually has multiple sore throat cancellations, at least one of which was COVID

I also need to get bloodwork done soon, needed for a series of appointments. Less of a rush but really not good if there's a positive result. I think it's unlikely as Chemguy's exposure to others is minimual, but then the same is true for where he would have picked up anything contagious.
He doesn't think it's strep, but doesn't ever remember having it before either.
I remember having it multiple times a year as a kid. I think he would say his throat is worse than what I'm hearing, but who knows if he just doesn't get bad symptoms?
My sister is feeling a lot of stress at work. Coworker just went on stress leave due to COVID related stress. So my sister is having to pick up some of that slack and also fix some things that were dropped before the stress leave started. She moved recently, so the oldest is in kindergarten and the youngest in daycare, instead of using her friend for childcare like she as done for a few years, meaning less flexibility in terms of not being home.
She asked me to babysit, and she understands my concerns with the current situation. She won't have me do a daycare pickup (current outbreak there), it's just for the oldest to be there when he gets off the bus until someone is home, she said we can just play outside or in the garage if the weather isn't great and I can ask him to keep his mask on (needed on the bus anyway). She's also going to check with neighbours but can't do that tonight and I think he stress is high so she feels better at least having a possibility set up - assuming I don't end up having to isolate!
