The latest I have seen snow (save when up in a mountain area or visiting a place like Alaska) was my birthday (May).

We had a skiff of snow in June in Barrie in the mid-70s. I know, because I was working in an ice cream parlour for the summer; terrible business that summer.

Now would be a good time to buy bug spray for Ottawa spring weather. They don’t get monster mosquitos like Winnipeg it they get tons

hope you are feeling better and mom is good
Fortunately, our apartment has netted windows - but the spray might be still necessary to go outside.
I am feeling much better since yesterday, and the senses of smell and taste are slowly returning. I could smell and taste the coffee this morning and also the greaves on the bread. Subtler things not yet, though.
My wife is also fine, thank you! She will get a doctor appointment tomorrow morning - fingers crossed.

Are we talking snow on the ground for a few hours or snow lasting longer?
Then for the first option, first week of June in NS would be the latest we have had. If you go by lasting a day or so, Snow for Easter in April can last longer.
We just had this one to wake up to on Saturday ( pic taken 6.15), but by 8 am it was gone.

Good morning, all! Happy Monday! As we continue to give thanks for new life, and experience different weather patterns day to day, let us pause in our sojournings for some companionship and hot beverages around the coffee cart. It's up and runningforthe day.

New baby was breech, and eventually my poor cuz needed a c-section. However, 3.7 kg, a boy, healthy, everyone doing well. No name yet, although Granddad has been calling it "Monty" from the get-go, and he swears it's growing on her...I think one of the names should be Joseph, after his late great-granddad, one of the kindest, easiest-going men I ever knew.

Great to know all went well and the baby is healthy!
We are starting the name journey here - such a challenge.

GiancarloZ Sorry to hear about your Covid, but happy to hear about your other news. Good luck and health with both. My son in law (in Michigan) has been sent to the Texas Mexico border to help with the mountain of paperwork and other duties with the immigrants. He says it has been very chaotic. Then....he got covid....and is stuck in a hotel room recuperating. He also lost his sense of taste. I think he is feeling a little better now but it was tough at the beginning. My other son and his wife are expecting a baby in the fall. The oldest son and his wife are expecting one in May. So....babies galore! Longing for a world situation that allows us to HUG these little ones.

Wishing a prompt recovery to your son in law, and all the best to the mommies and babies! The pandemic has certainly increased the size of families!
