Sorry to hear about his illness. Don’t give up on him yet though. Dogs are pretty resilient partly because they have no concept of grief and worry. So if he is elk fed and cared for and loved he can keep going

Grey and rainy here.
Why does that make me think it looks like you are working on a Covid vaccine.....I'm sipping on my second coffee ... it's a dreary day here, raining off & on - which I will not complain about after the summer drought - the earth is thirsty & needs replenishment. Coffee is late, because I got up early today & went to the local grocery store pharmacy to get flu shot - so that's checked off the list. It was a bit tricky to find somewhere with the senior's dose available - even higher demand this year I guess. I planted my AeroGarden this morning too - so I'm looking forward to harvesting fresh herbs all winter. Cdn Tire recently had them on a 50% off sale, so we got one for ourselves and one as a belated birthday gift for our son. We are also planning to use one of our other grow lights to try growing some salad greens indoors this winter - gotta find something to keep the mind occupied! Have a good day all!

Watch out, it is hidden in the salad leaves she is graciously sharing with her neighbours!Which is now up for your reading pleasure. And fits in nicely here on WC2, I think.
My Temple
Ah, but who is behind it? What sinister forces are backing her vaccine research? Could it be ... Bill Gates!
Actually, if you to the poem, then click on my user name to get my profile and go to the Stories section, there's some other poems in there. Not sure how one "reads" a poem on a forum but you can imagine a talking gorilla reciting it if you like (Think General Ursus from Beneath the Planet of the Apes but in Cornelius's costume. I think you're geeky enough to get that reference.)I suggest @Mendalla as Poet In Residence, and should read his poem.
Maybe another room? Anyway, this is a poem I read recently that spoke to me profoundly. Neat thing is, I read his work long ago as a teenager and have rediscovered it. Youtube has some poetry readings.
