I suspect she is following recommendations in her YouTube algorithms and where links on some of these antimask and antivaxx sites take her and not doing much critical thinking about the sources and their extended sources. She will never believe all these little bits and pieces are aiding a worldwide disinformation campaign coming from the far right and bad actors trying to destabilize the world - some of the sources haven't figured out what they are giving voice to either. It's nearly impossible to challenge this stuff when people have bought fully into it. I think it should, if it can't be censored because that is a slippery slope - all be put into a "right wing misinformation" thread. The way she copies and pastes long articles with themes and antisemitic dog whistle words like "deep state" and "Soros" Often without a link, is annoying and evasive. I recommend the mods learn what the right wing dog whistles are. Read up on right far right wing efforts to mislead so you can spot it and don't waste your time contemplating and debating it. Those posts should get dumped straight into "right wing misinformation". I don't think she knows what she's doing. But I think I have a pretty good idea what's going on. Believe it or not.

After reading this it made me wonder about whether anemia (or lack of iron) was prominent in a COVID patient......either prior to infection or after.

Iron is essential to bind with oxygen in order to transport O2 throughout the body.

So I wonder is anemia a problem with COVID?

Everything I have seen suggests issue with bloodvessels. I think a complete blood count would be pretty typical to do on some really sick patients, so I think we would have heard more about that already if it was, but with so much info there is a bit of overload so easy to not hear about some discoveries too.
As for prior to infection, if that was an issue I don't think we would be seeing men being more severely affected.
 
The Covid numbers are ticking up. I wish they would say how many are on the Island.

A friend visited me today. (Same age as me, we went to high school together). We are 69 now. She is close with her step daughter and her kids but she’s going to have to stop seeing them in person. The daughter’s husband keeps inviting people over. He seems incapable of realizing the risk.

I suggested she could meet with her on Zoom. She’s going to try it.

The usual influenza will also start circulating soon. You could have Covid and the flu at the same time!

Very interesting information ... much of it alluding to conditions I've noted in myself and in relatives that suffered cardiovascular difficulties and COPD/post polio syndrome!

An aortic valve deficiency of mine has a lot of literature that indicates several pharmaceuticals that are to be used with great caution ... including ACE inhibitors and other neural-active components. In much of these ... a little bit is good where more is dangerous!

A leaning towards homeopathy? Dilute the powerful applications ... SAPI attitudes? Maybe not ...
 
What would happen after school opens and your child gets COVID but your child happens to be the one that gets a serious case of the virus?
Is that child sent home first? Or sent straight to the hospital?
Will the parents be allowed to see them while they are in the hospital or will it be like the nursing home residents and no one will be allowed to see them once they're whisked off? Will the parents be allowed to veto certain treatments.....such as ventilation or do they lose all parental rights as far as treatment goes?
Is the hospital allowed to use any controversial drugs (experimental) without your approval?
 
Wouldn't it be a better plan to send half of the kids to school from Sept. to Feb and the other half to school from February to July inclusive with no long holidays? This would shorten the school year and teaching would have to be more concentrated but there would be less kids in classrooms.

The rules around parental consent are not invalidated by this pandemic, just as rules around patient consent are not. Whether they can see them may be an issue, but the hospitals will need consent to treat.

It would be hard to make a decision without being there though.
