Solar panels get recharged with sunlight. My point was that we sat outside, enjoyed some sunshine and feel retired.
That's true. Even the ones that charge a separate battery first need to be charged by sunlight, and then the energy gets traduced into battery power.

Well this sounds promising, the University of Houston has invented a heated air filter that kills the coronavirus. Of course this would be used along with other precautions taken:

A few days ago Daughter posted photos of her 'Retreat' on a social site online. They show about twenty women in close proximity with arms around each other. Pictures in twos and threes etc. She spent two days with them. Sharing cars, doing each others hair and make up, giving each other manicures and pedicures. This was business related and totally voluntary.
Today she showed up at our house because she wanted some computer support. Claimed she was really stressed with way too much to do in too short a time. Hubby mentioned that we hadn't seen, or heard from her for weeks. Then he added - I'll bring the laptop outside so we can distance. It was hard but I kept my mouth shut except to drink my coffee!

I don't know whether it was legal. I think we can have groups up to thirty - providing people remain distant. It was definitely not wise!

Yes, I'm having a bit of a problem when I'm at the front door of the store offering sanitation and masks, and people claim "medical exemptions". There's some tightened lips going on behind my mask in some cases (many of these customers are not strangers to me...).

@Lastpointe - re the face shields - I was suprised to see some for sale at Fabricland recently. $15 each I think - and they would be re-usable. However - they mostly provide eye protection for the wearer from incoming droplets and are usually worn with a mask to prevent outward spread of any germs. The wrap under the chin is needed to limit outward droplet transmission.

What we're allowing at No Frills is the wearing of just a face shield, BUT ONLY WHILE BEHIND THE ACRYLIC barriers (still have to mask on the floor). I'm going to try one to see if it helps with my customers' lipreading problems.
