It's becoming more clear that the ones who support government mandates - aka the threat of force or violence - will, for the most part, be the same ones cheering on vaccine mandates. Whether its mask mandates or vaccines it is a bad idea to allow government more say in our bodily autonomy.

Where are vaccines being mandated?

For one, if you violate most of these mask mandates you will be fined and in some cases arrested.

Here in London, they will only be required on transit or during transactions requiring close contact (e.g. manicures and haircuts). And there are fines involved but I can't remember the amount. No one will be going to jail or anything unless they don't pay.

I would find the information for you but you would dismiss it as conspiracy theory so I will just reiterate this:

There will be some who recognize what they have condoned and the precedent being established ...
but it might be too late to meaningfully oppose these mandates by then.

I had my hair done finally. I saved up for the full meal deal - wash, cut, highlights, blow dry/style. Hadn't had a cut in months and hadn't had highlights in a year and a half. I needed a boost.

I had to go back twice because the first hair dresser screwed it up a bit. She was nice - also new, and I paid a lot of money from my perspective (at a competitively priced salon, too). So the guy who fixed for free (I tipped him) had 40+ years experience, thankfully. Long story short we all had to wear masks. There's an announcement on the bus recommending the use of face coverings but not everyone has one. I do, on the bus, which I try to avoid taking if I can.

Somebody washing and styling my hair for me sure felt nice. And the second hair dresser gave me his arm to walk from my scooter to his chair. First time I think anyone touched me or I touched them in months. The though went through my head that it was nice to link arms with a strong male arm- even for 30 seconds. I didn't say anything but I thought it. It was comforting. That is a thing. It does trigger depression to be without even basic human touch.

Okay, I watched the video and he definitely seems burnt out and not in great shape. I feel bad for his condition. I don't think he's weak or immoral for getting hooked on them on even if it was more addiction than physical dependency. That needn't be moralized. I wish he wouldn't make the distinction like that. It hurts people.

I don't really buy that he had to go to Russia for treatment.

This thread is aboot conspiracy theories. Not necessarily aboot which ones are true. You believe in a few of them. I have some favourites as well.

I hope this does not pan out the way it sounds, but that gunman arrested at Rideau Hall apparently cited a conspiracy trope on his business' FB page only an hour before the event happened. This is where conspiracy theories stop being innocent madness and move into the realm of a serious risk to safety. People who take this stuff seriously are not necessarily unwilling to take dramatic action on it. As I said, I hope that's not what happened here, but it does point up the risks.

It is under investigation. We wont know until the investigation is over and perhaps the trial.

It is however trendy right now. Conspiracies. What with them becoming mainstream. And a certain someone 45 who so many think is worse than hitler tweets them.

Of course conspiracies can b dangerous. Look at Manifest Destiny. Or the American Revolution. Or Wokism. Or Maoism. Or Gulf of Tonkin. Or WMDs in Iraq. RussiaGate. Etc.

Bringing up that lone gunperson as an example of a conspiracy theory ain't one yet. We dont know. There are understandable reasons why someone would do that thst have nothing to do with crazy or 45 or thr illumanati. Be patient and wait I say.

Rejecting certain information does not mean there's a lack of investigating. On the contrary, it's often evidence of having investigated and of considering the information found.

Consider this:

I totally agree. There have been some devastating reactions to vaccines in some cases.
