I laugh at all the nabobs who said he was misreading it and not to worry lol

Jordan Peterson is a living breathing personified conspiracy theory. Me thinks he doth protested a bit too much, and gave someone that idea which was nothing to do with the purpose of Bill C-16. But...this goes in the Jordan Peterson thread. Not here. Please don't bring that guy and his comrades up all the f***ing time again so I have to keep getting the right wing monster boxing gloves out. Dear God I can't take it. That man is not a hero. He's also very ideological and very political but says he is not. He has done more harm than good, imo. If there was a "most divisive Canadian" award, he'd win it. I wish I never had to know about him.

Here's one I have no proof for whatsoever, but...maybe JP - fearing the fame and attention he once enjoyed was slipping into obscurity - arranged for these people to take up the case so that he could say "told ya!", and get back in the media. I don't actually think that's the case - I just thought of it - but it also wouldn't surprise me if it was.

Okay, I watched the video and he definitely seems burnt out and not in great shape. I feel bad for his condition. I don't think he's weak or immoral for getting hooked on them on even if it was more addiction than physical dependency. That needn't be moralized. I wish he wouldn't make the distinction like that. It hurts people.

I don't really buy that he had to go to Russia for treatment.

Also, where's the news about the misgendering case you mentioned Inanna?

This is the conspiracy thread and you seem to have a lot of conspiracy theories around JP.

After that one can drive daisies up from a humble position ... ... like propping lears and ganda's ... some even good for a gu's!

We shall be overrun by overcoming dirt and MIR! Naive folks require rules that cannot be changed in their ganders ... thus communicative tyranny ... and according to nature ... alternate is required!
 
I hope this does not pan out the way it sounds, but that gunman arrested at Rideau Hall apparently cited a conspiracy trope on his business' FB page only an hour before the event happened. This is where conspiracy theories stop being innocent madness and move into the realm of a serious risk to safety. People who take this stuff seriously are not necessarily unwilling to take dramatic action on it. As I said, I hope that's not what happened here, but it does point up the risks.

The post also directs people to look up "Event 201," a worldwide pandemic preparedness exercise run last year that conspiracy theorists now use to suggest Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is behind COVID-19.
