I am still working more or less my regular hours so time is kind of flowing the same. Without the morning and evening commutes, though, things do happen a bit differently. Tonight, for instance, I cooked a meal that I usually only do on weekends because there isn't time on weekdays (not to mention part of it needs to be prepared at lunch time).

I think it's Tuesday? Well, it's morning here, anyway. Time for coffee, tea, etc.

Here too, but it's not staying on the ground.....my bike hasn't been used much lately.

Bike? I haven't even had many walks yet, let alone getting the bike out. Looked at the weather and it's low single digits with a chance of flurries until Friday, then it gets warm and sunny for a couple days. This so-called spring is nuts.

Well it is only April and we did have a fairly tame winter. :giggle: I've had the bike out 3 times when the weather was nice but I've had to take it slow as I limber up after the sedentary winter.

Good morning. I hope the snow that's falling is a short-lived last blast of winter. I'm heading to the hospital later to get a scheduled monthly infusion. I'll take my sweater to knit while I'm there. I am able to also see the doctor in person. I have a rash that won't quit so I asked if he could look at it. I'm so tired of being itchy.

Hi all!

I missed coffee hour today because we had some problems with our internet connection. All is well now.

I was actually getting a bit concerned. You aren't usually late with the Bible study post. Glad it was just the Internet being bad. I'll try to get something up in the Mark thread tonight. I read Mark 6 but it's been a busy day and I need to collect my thoughts again.

Weather was weird and wild here today. Gusty winds and every hour or two, we got a round of blowing snow. No real accumulation, but things got close to whiteout conditions at times.

Back from doctor's appointment and infusion. The hospital has escorts from the clinic to the main door. I wonder if that kind of service will continue once all the controls are lifted. My rash is a reaction to something, likely a drug. Soooo, I'm to stop everything. Of course right after my appointment I went for the infusion. While I was there I wondered if that was part of the "everything" :p Well, I guess if the rash suddenly gets worse, I'll have an idea...... And oh joy, a week's prescription of prednisone to get the rash down. He wants to see me in person for my next appointment which was already scheduled for next week.

I went to Michael's and bought some yarn to make a baby blanket for a friend. That will go on the needles when I'm done hubby's sweater. Thankfully Michael's is apparently considered essential. It is a big enough store, with wide aisles so is easy to maintain distance there.

Now I've got a good cup of tea. That's the longest I've been out of the house in ages.

I think they are having to do curbside in Ontario, but I don't shop there so maybe I am wrong.

Ontario seems to have shut more things down to in-store shopping here. For example, Canadian Tire is still offering both in store and curbside here.

Hopefully it will go away for you soon.
I do have to roll my eyes at doctors and their prednisone. Not to say in your case it's not worth it. No one has ever suggested phototherapy to me before until I was totally covered though, and I'm responding so well to it. I feel like now I have very little active eczema, a few minor patches on my neck. I have lots of dry spots though and also dry skin plus places that are scabbed or red that need to heal. It's not eczema-red though, nor itchy. I think many spots would flare up quickly though if I were to stop so I shall keep going until my skin heals more. Once I get to that point I will bring up going down to once/week, usually one would only do that after going for treatment quite a bit longer than this but I'm shocked how well this has worked for me. I'm not even in there for long, usually they would still be increasing the time but I see no need. I also find if I get to the point of pink - what most people need for it to be effective - I get a few little flareups on the areas that get the most colour from the irritation. For example, my shoulders were doing ok when I started this but when they went pink I noticed they developed a few patches, really minor that cleared up but it was more than just dryness.

Why didn't anyone ever recommend I do this before?
