When my kids acted 'entitled' I gathered their stuff and dropped it on their beds. I called them back to clean kitchen or bathroom mess or didn't serve them the next meal until it was dealt with. Hard to do with a stranger!
Can't do that. I have no right, or desire, to do anything like that. We eat our own meals anyway...I can't tell her what to do.

I wish there was a bit better communication between us, and I've tried but she seems to be lacking in those skills, or not interested. Anyway. It's hardly a big deal right now - those little things are not a big deal. It was just that I didn't want a bunch of strangers over, with party starting after 9 - and to be stuck here for it with a bunch of people in this small space. My irritation, already, with the other little things - was compounded by her texting and announcing last minute what her plans were. I, and my landlords, made it clear that it can't happen right now anyway.

Edmonton is under a state of emergency too. I'm a bit surprised at how quickly things change. After Calgary did it, it sounded like we were not. I didn't think the situation had changed that much from when they decided not to until now. I don't know what the factors were that lead to the change though.

I am wondering why they are reporting every case, not just deaths and hospitalizations. When they do that, it inflates the numbers and fear in people’s minds. In BC, there are 348 cases, but only 22 people in the hospital. 10 people have died in all of Canada - ten people died, and that is sad for their loved ones. My point is that those are not catastrophic numbers. Most people with it are managing ok, sick at home feeling kind of crappy. The hospitalizations don’t seem to be overwhelming the system, 22 in the entire province is not a huge number, but the rapid changes and directives are overwhelming the system and throwing it, and people’s mental well-being - including doctors who have to rapidly change procedures and keep up with demand - into chaos and uncertainty.

The recovery rate is not moving along very quickly, that’s a problem when looking at the numbers. Flus and colds can drag on, too. People rarely get tested for colds and flu to see if they’re still carriers (in fact, they next to never get tested for colds and flu at all unless hospitalized...how many with respiratory viruses know what kind of bug they have for sure, ever?) they just get on with their regular lives when they feel well enough. So...this skews the perspective, quite possibly, imo.

I have had a chronic cough (due to cardiac conditions?) for over 3 years. Should I remain locked up in a clear bubble like that prince in transparent fabrications? I would 'a run out of eire ...

Plus I am impressed that some medical people do not believe in chronic conditions ... either critical and demanding a pill ... or non-critical indicating a non-entity as follows:
  1. 1.
a person or thing with no special or interesting qualities; an unimportant person or thing.
    "a political nonentity"
  2. 2.
    nonexistence.
    "asserting the nonentity of evil"
Thus nothing ensues as an unthought of personality conflict! Be prepared to watch life as if you weren't there and thus you can envision everything!

Accept that nothing is out of the question ... as we do not know how to address it ...

Detailing is critical to separate the monkeys in these trades from those aping their professional standings without any depth of understanding. Admit that knowledge and understanding are minor things below elite horizons ... ripe for a spectre to appear ... if you have any flavour of abstract!

Some say there is no question about it ... and I say there are no answers to naivete ... as the object is in bliss (or the subject if looking the other way)!

Asthmatics, people with allergies, etc. also get chronic coughs. But now there’s panic about mild symptomatic carriers and/ or asymptomatic carriers. But they’re not going to be tested anyway...just treated like they are potential carriers and even more isolated.

I don’t think this is being handled well. Nevertheless, it is what it is.

Not one question allowed ... thus it is unanswerable!

They’re certainly curtailing...completely...asylum seekers from war ravaged and (even more) despotic countries. One wonders if that’s part of this.

This is like a biblical plague...people in mass exodus because of wars and extreme hardships inflicted upon them, are in danger, nobody is taking them in...

You and I and ... others thought they knew alternately ... and yet we didn't! Just accept how little we know ... work it as detailed ... and still not much too it as a non-entity to the grossest of the knowledgeable. You understand what I'm saine ...

On this I will wonder eternally ... about my own mist of awesomeness ... inside this infinitely small dark cloud ... it still reflects minutely! Fertile or fecund lens? Still a hard spot ...

My father-in-law died yesterday as a matter of fact. Unrelated to the virus.

An old and dear friend passed last evening in Calgary with condition eating at his insides ... it was a blessing considering the pain he was in ... he was in no panic about leaving as he relayed to me over the phone two weeks ago today. The man had a grand conscience ... more than I can say about certain determinate folks! Dear lowered next step ... please! May it be enlightened to human Eire ...

My Cousin died two days ago in Vancouver - unrelated to the virus.
A long time friend of Garry's died 3 days ago in Winnipeg - unrelated to the virus.

You know, I get the authorities frustration, but I also get the lineup. People need things to do at home.

That said, I thought gamers were mostly buying games and gear online now through Amazon or gaming clouds like Steam. The continued existence of EB kind of baffles me a little.
