Nancy Pelosi is a good and kind woman?
Nancy Pelosi is not a political oligarchic elite?
Nancy Pelosi is not a political puppet to the globalist billionaires and trillionaires?
Nancy Pelosi does not profit from the bleeding of the United States?
Nancy Pelosi came to be a multi-millionaire on a salary of just $223,500 annually?

Nancy Pelosi was not re-elected as Speaker of the House by progressive-fascist Democrats?

“That is the key to history. Terrific energy is expended – civilizations are built up – excellent institutions
devised; but each time something goes wrong. Some fatal flaw always brings the selfish and the cruel people to the top and it all slides back into misery and ruin.” – C.S. Lewis"

Is unthunk or otherwise unthinkable ... but does go on ...

Does tu suite enter as a fit of emotional quickness? Divine or different parts fitting ... allowing one should know a bit about the fit before getting intuwit!

I never said Nancy Pelosi was virtuous, etc. All I said was that it would be sweet.

And it will never, ever happen. Not in a million years. The Republicans in the Senate would never even for a moment no matter what evidence there was think about removing Trump from office without Pence (or at least another Republican) to take the presidency in his place. Just like in 1973 there was already considerable momentum for Nixon's impeachment, but with Spiro Agnew having resigned as Vice President and the Democratic Speaker of the House Carl Albert being next in line, Senate Republicans wouldn't even consider (regardless of the evidence) removing Nixon from office until Gerald Ford had been appointed as Vice President by Nixon and confirmed in the office by Congress. Then there was a safety valve, and impeachment became inevitable, leading to Nixon's resignation. In the same way, Pelosi as president would be a non-starter for Republicans.

To be clear, I did not think this was even remotely likely to happen. It just struck me as fun. Some days we need to find humour where it presents itself.

These comments do raise dissonance in some calmer pools ... once known as the hidden Eris! Thus rifts, ripples and other waves ...

Some days we need to find humour where it presents itself.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed thanks to the war on terror, innocent children are born with life threatening abnormalities (if they even survive that long), toxic “forever chemicals” in our water are poisoning military families and refugees alike, the U.S. military is the world’s biggest polluter, the radioactive residue of abandoned uranium mines are wreaking havoc on the lives of the Navajo people, suicides among active-duty soldiers are up 20%, the Pentagon has emitted over a billion metric tons of greenhouse gases, U.S. sanctions killed over 40,000 people in Venezuela since 2017, 14 million people are at risk of starvation and death due to disease in Yemen while the death toll could reach over 230,000 by 2020, all the while Julian Assange sits in solitary confinement in Belmarsh prison for simply revealing the War Machine’s crimes—you get the idea.

War is one of few things that Democrats and Republicans unite over—year after year.

Whether it is to approve massive military budgets and involvement in the murder of innocent lives abroad or to cover up incomprehensible war crimes, the two halves of the War Party are determined to keep a War Economy growing.

People suffer the world over and the 'elites' are laughing at them not with them.

I am not finding the humor in any of these 'elite' presentations of political farce.

So this is how the sinister zeitgeist works. Somebody makes an absurd joke that seems too outlandish and wicked to be considered for real, and Dr. Evil (in whatever guise he's wearing) attempts to try it. In certain cases he's quite obvious.

:ROFLMAO::cry:

OK nobody make really exaggerated jokes anymore! Or make them, then expect some wicked (yet somehow hilarious in some cases) irony! somebody lift the curse from Colbert's desk(s).

Then there is the belief of not questioning anything whatsoever! A created quandary!

Powerful politicians may skirt about questions ... no names mentioned! Then things become ridiculous failures ...

:( Wtf is he doing with Turkey/ Syria/ the Kurds? Is all this awfulness intended to be a "distraction" from impeachment?:mad::( Seriously?! &#%* %#^?

There are no adequate words to describe this Thing. Not even a whole paragraph of '4 letter words' could do it. What a myopic selfish twit.

Trump is caught between two allies fighting.....which one should he choose to fight against? Plus doesn't the US arm them both?

Trump is quite insane. That's not just a bit of slanging him. He is genuinely insane. He always has been. There is no telling what he might do next.

What is insane about not wanting to enter into a war on the other side of the world? Sure an area where the US created perfect conditions for ISIS to exist.....but that existed before he took power.
Look I'm not a fan of Trump.....but I'm wondering why not going to war is the tipping point for republicans to question their support for Trump? (Timber Sycamore ring a bell?)

Not Turkey any more. Erdogan lost US military support when he accepted Russian military support, specifically a Russian middle defense system.

Turkey is Trump's ally - not America's. Trump has two buildings in Istanbul. He has personal business reasons to maintain good relations with Erdogan. How some don't see this as a major conflict of interest is beyond me.

Trump is throwing the Kurds to the wolves, after the Kurds fought ISIS for the U.S. He is more than throwing them under the bus. He has turned his back on another ally. Trump will be complicit in ethnic cleansing of the Kurds, quite possibly so that he keeps two buildings.

Is Turkey not a member of Nato, thus an ally?

Right, so that justifies allowing them to commit genocide? Given that they still deny the Armenian genocide, why would we trust them to treat the Kurds any better? There are good reasons why the EU still hasn't given them full membership and I would applaud NATO booting them as well.
