You're a good egg, Luce.

Lucely white ... there's something dark there at the core of the curiosity! Maintain the fuzzy ... so we can't see it ... blind faith persona ... faceii-Jah? Behind the masque something other ... alternate ...

Recall Jesus said there were two sides to den Arious! Tis a common split we can't seem to heal ... search definition of lusty for healthy ... as an out!

Imagine if at the end the hole thing collapses ...with a bang? Will that be stunning too ... then project that drifting sensation at night ...

paradox3 ---- see post #643 page33 ------for clarification

Your Quote Here paradox3 -------In post #643 we were discussing Matthew 20: 1-16, the parable of the workers in the vineyard. This is the story of all workers being paid one denarius at the end of the day regardless of the time they were hired and began working.

There are no tenants or servants in this parable, unsafe.

unsafe says ----This is what I am talking about paradox3 ------all you see is what you see in what you read with your physical worldly glasses ------The is the Spiritual message to this parable and when you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who gives you the Spiritual glasses to see beyond the Physical words you do see that there are --tenants and servants mentioned in this Parable ------

This is the difference in one just reading the words of the Bible and One who gets the meaning behind the words ------

There is the Logos word ---the written word of God --------and then there is the Rhema word ------which is the spoken word of God ----the Holy Spirit speaks to us the real meaning of the Logos -----The only person who can give us the Rhema word when we read Scripture is the Holy Spirit ----who dwells in us --------

THE LOGOS

John 1:1-2, 14 NKJV

1/ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2/ He was in the beginning with God. 14/ And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,

Rhema is a Greek word that literally means an"utterance" or

"thing said"

It is a word that signifies theaction of utterance.

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV

11/So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

rhema_on_bible.6975636.jpg

Psalm 107:20 NKJV

20/He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

In Christianity, rhema is used in reference to Jesus Christ's sayings.

John 6:63 NKJV

63/........The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Tenents are sometimes mistaken for beliefs ... when just then something changes when you think you've grasp it ...

Others remain fixated ... Eucored? Being the variations ... how would we firmly know?

Consider some people's fears of the world! Others are convinced they are winners ... regardless of how low they go ...

Swing low sweet chariots ... there may be riders to escape ... is the entire thing a metaphor of an anagram ... some dyslexia needed to see things from the other way ... de Deus?

This can haunt some stuck over the variables ...

John 6:63 NKJV

63/........The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Here's the text...
"'The kingdom of heavens is like to an husbandman, that went out first by the morrow,, to hire workmen into his vineyard. And when the covenant was made with the workmen, of a penny for the day, he sent them into his vineyard..And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the market. And he said to them, Go ye also into my vinery, and that that shall be rightful, I shall give to you. And they went forth. Again he went out about the sixth hour, and the ninth, and did in like manner. But about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing; and said to them, What stand ye idle here all day? They say to him, For no man hath hired us. He saith to them, Go ye also into my vineyard. And when evening was come, the lord of the vineyard saith to his procurator, Call the workmen, and yield to them their hire, and begin thou at the last till to the first. And so when they were come, that came about the eleventh hour, also they took every each of them a penny. But the first came, and deemed, that they should take more, but they took each one by themselves a penny; and in the taking they grumbled against the husbandman, saying, These last wrought one hour, and thou hast made them even to us, that have borne the charge of the day, and heat? And he answered to one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee none wrong; whether thou hast not accorded with me for a penny? Take thou that that is thine, and go; for I will give to this last man, as to thee. Whether it is not leaveful to me to do that that I will? Whether thine eye is wicked, for I am good? So the last shall be the first, and the first the last; for many be called, but few be chosen" - Matthew 20:1-16 (WYC)

People in the parable: the hisbandman, the procurator, the workers.

NKJ has landowner, steward and laborers.

NRSV has landowner, manager and laborers.

Nothing about tenants or servants.

I wonder if @unsafe is conflating Matthew 20:1-16 and Matthew 21:33-46.

Perhaps. I wonder also if she's imagining people who might be behind the parable rather than actually in it.

paradox3 ------

This is Matthew 20----this parable is about Salvation --------

Matthew 20 (ERV)
Jesus Uses a Story About Farm Workers
20 “God’s kingdom is like a man who owned some land.

unsafe says ------ Who is the Land owner ---------God -----

One morning, the man went out very early to hire some people to work in his vineyard.

unsafe says ------the first ones calledl to the Vineyard ----- represent the Jews ------

3 “About nine o’clock the man went to the marketplace and saw some other people standing there. They were doing nothing. 4 So he said to them, ‘If you go and work in my field, I will pay you what your work is worth.’ 5 So they went to work in the vineyard.

unsafe says ------the last ones called to the Vineyard represent the Gentiles -------

The equal pay represents God is in no debt to man as this world sees ------The first and the last hired are equal in God's eyes ----In Christ there is no Jew or Gentile ---etc The First group become jealous and discontent that the last got the same pay -----God brought in the Gentiles to include in Salvation to make the Jews jealous and come to the realization they needed a Saviour ------The Gentiles believed Jesus was the Messiah and the Jews didn't -----

So just because the Jews were the first chosen they become the last because of their unbelief that Jesus is who He said He was ----and the Last who were the Gentiles became the first unto Salvation ----

The Tenants ---are the Jew -----The Servants are the Gentiles ----- We are God's Creation and everything we have is owned by God ---we own nothing -----and we are nothing without Christ -----The Tenants--- the Jews thought that they were the Chosen ones and were the best of the lot ----The Parable shows that the Gentiles in God's eyes were equal in value to the Chosen ones hence the equal pay -------So what looks right in this world is not so in God's Kingdom ------

God accepts all who come to Him to be saved no matter the time ---------Salvation is there for us ---we have free will to accept or reject His Grace offer ------but we are to be saved His Way not our way -------

In the world we climb up the latter to success ----In the Spiritual world we climb down the Ladder for success -------

Jesus was King and laid His Kingship down ---he climbed down the ladder ----to become a sacrifice for us ------we are to lay self ( ego down to be a servant of Christ -----

There exist no perfect pastors.

There do exist some wolves in sheep's clothing.
Are you saying Joel Osteen is a wolf. His message this morning is on seeing with spiritual eyes .

Are you suggesting that spiritual insight does not exist becsuse on who is delivering the message.

Amen

I was going to answer on the parable but I decided not to because I knew you were very capable

All depends on which Glasses a Person reads the Scripture --------and we can't read the Spiritual without the Spiritual in us -------

Only God through His Grace which come through Faith can change our Glasses to view His word ------when we receive Jesus we get a new lens implant by and through the Holy Spirit -----

These two paragraphs appear as contradicting each other. How can you say God treats the Jews and gentiles equally but then God puts the Jews last for salvation?

I found it interesting that Joel Osteen's message today what's on seeing with spiritual eyes

He spoke about understanding scripture in the spiritual he spoke about seeing people by the spiritual

He also spoke about seeing our own personal trials and errors in the spiritual

I doubt the Holy Spirit dwells within us to lord over others but to respond in love and compassion no matter which " glasses" we are wearing.
