The Greatest Showman Reimagined is out. I mentioned it in a post in Random Acts of Music, but it wasn't out yet, then. Reimagined is the complete songlist from the movie musical covered by various pop artists. It's generally pretty good, with some odd ducks (rapping added to a couple songs) but also some great versions. "Tightrope" is done by Sara Bareilles and she handles it beautifully. "Greatest Show", the lead-off song, is covered twice, by Panic! At The Disco and Pentatonix (the second is a bonus track) and both capture the energy of the song. Kelly Clarkson belts out "Never Enough" with the expected results. The real surprise charmer, though, is the final song of the show "From Now On", reimagined as a folk-country ballad by the Zac Brown Band.
And, the version I picked up from Hoopla is the Deluxe Edition, meaning once I've listened to all the cover versions, I also have the OST of the movie to listen to as well (featuring Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, Zendaya, and Keala Settle).
