Also, I think you should not give up on Jim Carrey. I think he has a whole bunch more to give. I knew him as a teenager. His commitment to moving forward as a human has always blown me away.
Oh yeah, living colour...almost forgot about that, loved it. I tend to agree with your post.Too bad it's about the only funny thing he's done since leaving In Living Colour. Sorry, I gave up on the guy after his idiotic turn as The Riddler in Batman Forever (admittedly, the whole film was a trainwreck, but his portrayal didn't help).
Oh, I may give The Truman Show a shot someday. Heard good things about it so maybe it will revive my interest in the guy.
Jim Carry is talented. The Truman Show was a great movie...pre-reality TV, so kind of prophetic. And his performance in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was excellent (co-starring Kate Winslet who was also excellent)...proving he can do serious roles, too.
Forgot about Eternal... . Another one on my "to see" list but not because of him. It's a Charlie Kaufman flick and I keep hearing great things about him.
oh neet
I don't like Adam Sandler but loved Spanglish. The Truman Show is my Jim Carrey equivalent.
