Look. Trump is not the problem. He is a product of the problem.
The U.S., like Canada, is actually governed by top figures who are among the greediest and most stupid in the world. All of its wars have been fought to make the very rich ever richer. Their greedy. They have no sense of the consequences of what they are doing. They're steeped in corruption. And the news media, which they own, lie for them.
Bush was a murdering bastard. So was his father, especially in the unreported slaughter of 200,000 Maya in Guatemala. So was Obama. (And just about every president since 1945. American (and Canadian) big business, especially in mining, have a brutal and murderous history all over the world - as in Latin America and Africa. (But I'll bet you've never heard about that in our news media.)
The U.S. is collapsing out of the greed of its very wealthy, the corruption of its politicians, the delusions of its people. And much, much worse is to come.
And in the midst of all this, it remains determined on world conquest.
To say this is evil is putting mildly. But it certainly is true that we are facing an evil far, far worse that Hitler's Nazidom.
And we are not preparing for it at all. It is going to get much, much worse, more profoundly evil, and affect even greater parts of the world. Among other things, we are facing the almost certainly calamity of a billion refugees in this world within twenty years. I expect the only option we will use to deal with that is mass murder on the greatest scale ever seen.
And this comes from the world's leading Christian nation. And the churches are silent.
Almost everything about the churches in the U.S. (and Canada, and Britain, etc.) is wrong. We and they accept an economic system which is anti-Christian. Ditto for our social structures. Ditto for our addiction to war. Ditto for the greed of the most influential people in our Christian countries.
And there's not a peep out of Christians. Nor has there been a peep in the recent centuries of western brutality over most of the world. (In fact, we sent missionaries not to the abusers, but to the people they abuse.)
The Christian churches have ceased to have any relevance.
