Didn't Gertrude Stein say of Moncton, "There is no there, there." Or maybe she was speaking of Oakland...anyway welcome back Graeme.Hey. Three messages above, I said was home again. I have arrived. Attention must be paid.
I was in Ottawa. There is no intellect in Ottawa.
A university with intellect?
How unusual! I usually find them stuffed with egos.
If I had only known what I know now, I would have worked on my faith healing, and now be enjoying a lush retirement.
Hey, my son is going to university there (in fact, I will be there to visit him next weekend) and I can guarantee you there is intellect in at least his dorm room.![]()
I usually started with the pit in a jar - suspended with toothpicks - so 2/3rds is under water - keep it wet! - till it sprouted and then put in a pot of dirt...but it has also worked with just putting the pit in a pot of dirt - make sure dirt is kept moist...the best luck I had was starting the pits in spring and then putting the pots outside in a very sunny spot for the summer - making sure they had leafed out before bringing inside in the fall.BethA what do you do with pit. in dirt? in water?
