I'm glad you've shaken the headache @Mendalla I hope you were able to take it easy for awhile.

Dark mornings this time of year make it nice for sleeping in. It's a nice day for a slow start. I've had some vertigo lately that seems to get worse when I'm tired. Never has bad as the spell that hit me two weeks ago thank goodness. I'm doing exercises from physio and have had an extra massage. The post massage sore muscles seemed to make the vertigo rise a bit. I'm hoping to get this under control so it is a memory not a reality. I hope it doesn't last long.

I'm in a bad mood, I guess...started reading a book on women entrepreneurs LAST night - written by women, quoting high-profile women who don't feel that women are being taken seriously enough in the business world...yet, in the book, there was more space taken by descriptions of what the interviewee's were wearing and eating/drinking than by what they said at the interview...I gave up on the book after 30 pages.

That would put me in a bad mood too @BethAnne When was the last time we commented on a male politician's outfit and hair. (Okay orange complexion and bad haircut aside) I've noticed that it isn't easy to be a female politician in Alberta especially. Would a man be subject to some of the horrible things that have been said about the women? I doubt it. I'm not saying the women should be immune to criticism for the record. I'm saying it seems that if the men had done some of what the women did, they would either be praised or the criticism would not involve sexual put downs.

In the past week I have seen more BAD examples of women in politics, business, and leadership in many other arenas...and all I can think is "if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen"...it doesn't matter what field you are in - there is going to be criticism headed your way - whether you are male or female...females tend to default back to it's sexual harassment or think they can get away with anything "because they are female"...almost makes me wish I wasn't a woman as they are giving us a all a bad rap.

I'd love to see examples of that @BethAnne

I always think of Alison Redford. I'm not condoning her behaviours for the record. I wonder how they would have treated a male politician who was doing the same thing.

And I'm last.
