Ok, so Christ's 11th commandment, "to be perfect" is not really attainable in our lives?
Ok, and that can't happen as a human being?not until the corruptible puts on the incorruptible
Ok, and that can't happen as a human being?
Why would Jesus give us an 11th commandment to "be perfect" if was it was unattainable? There must be a way or a path that we can take to "be perfect". And if there is a way, wouldn't it seem reasonable that some of the "Elders" of our race could've already attained this (relative) perfection?correct , your corrupted , you me , every human being
except for Jesus

But why not of this world? "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven". Christians always think that Heaven is some far off place that they'll be taken to when they die, and not one second before. When the fact is, it's always been inside of us. These "corrupted" bodies, as you call them, contain the "truth within". We're simply not yet aware of it. Yet.there is a way, His name is Jesus Christ, he is the only way, let him do the work in you and you will be perfect according to His will in the new Kingdom.

Where did he say we couldn't be physically perfect? The Lords Prayer says the will of the Father will be done on Earth. Wouldn't this be a "Heaven on Earth"? Wouldn't this be perfection, as our Father is perfect? (At least a relative perfection as far us human beings are concerned). If more and more humans became aware of the "truth within", eg Soul-God-Aware, wouldn't this be the manifestation of the Kingdom of God?But but but
Because Jesus said so , I'll stick with Him since He proved Himself

There are many things that somedays I
I believe they regard Malachi as the last prophet and that's when the age of prophecy ceased. They consider Jesus to be a false prophet and that his prophecies werent fulfilled and they say that's why Christianity had to invent the second coming, even though its always been stated in the OT that the true messiah would fulfil prophecy the first time.
Anybody have a good explanation why Jesus didnt finish the job the first time he came?
I don't think most Jewish people think of Jesus as a "false prophet" as much as "not their prophet". I think there's some consensus that he followed the prophetic tradition, perhaps in the same way as Mohammed or Buddha - the finger pointing at the moon, not the moon.
But didn't Jesus claim to "be" God, not just pointing a finger at God?
yes He did, that's why the Jewish people were upset at Jesus, "You being a mere man make yourself out to be God"
Yes they felt it was idoltry. They aren't supposed to worship "forms" of God, only God Himself.
