I'm not trying to derail, but I would like to return to the issue of criminal records in Canada. My ex-step-mother-in-law (how's that for a relationship; we get along great) had a son who was convicted of trafficking in his 20s. He served his time, etc., but despite his best efforts, was never able to gain a pardon. He applied several times, even using the services of a lawyer once or twice, as he could afford to. They're not automatic. He was a nice guy. But basically never had another permanent full time job, because of the record.

To return it to the topic of the thread, if Trump was a compassionate person, he'd have pardoned the millions with criminal records for pot offenses, now largely moot at the state level.

In fairness to Trump he wouldn't have the authority to issue pardons for those offences. In the US, criminal law is a state matter. The president can only issue pardons for federal offences. Arpaio was charged with violating the US Constitution by targeting Latinos by the federal Department of Justice. Because it was a federal charge and conviction Trump had the authority to issue a pardon.

(If you ever have the chance to have deep fried cheezecake burrito made by mexicans, omg TRY IT! Sounded disgusting but it was like a party with the entire chorus line of Chippendale dancers in my mouth with the roofer as a chaser)

Some of us humans are tryin are trying indeed
Wether the minority is Communists trying to foment chaos and hatred and division or the similar but in another vein who want complete control of everything or the ones who want to see it all burn or the ones who gain from others' suffering and torment...

So many minorities...and each now have a say, a platform, and audiences...

Inanna s**t posts alt-right propaganda a lot. He really does. I didn't notice until fairly recently. But he's doing it daily, lately.
