I suspect he will soon be calling on NATO and others (and, especially, Canada) to do their 'share'.

The soldiers the dregs of the earth, and treated badly by those standards. When the imperial armies won, it was usually due to superior weaponry. But the empire also suffered defeats - and some very terrible ones.

It's not a real coup, imo. They're just calling the shots because he doesn't know what he's doing. And they've been at this too long to heed to impulsive willy nilly commands from a guy with a 140 character attention span. He's still the "figurehead". Not that everyone agrees with their decisions of course - but they do know the situation much better.

I was curious cause I see the multiple times the Afghan area has been occupied by various empires and groups...I'm glad its not because of some "super speshul Afghan sauce" that the land itself has lol
