Off topic response: If you're talking about HMCS Prevost, it is used for militia units. When I was still there, it was 22 Service Battalion and 4 RCR. There was also a Naval Cadet unit there. I think that may have changed since the base closed down, and became more of a militia centre. There is some kind of history about Prevost that is interesting. I can't remember it right now.

The Naval Cadets are there and my son's Air Cadet unit got moved there during the one year he was in Cadets (they were originally meeting at the base and that was the year they started closing stuff down and renovating what was left).

Generally good news, I would say. While a high % still agree that it is morally wrong to identify with or change to another gender, it is below 50% and the % who disagree or don't see it as a moral issue is above 50% on both issues. Obviously, one would hope to see the disagree % continue to rise and, I suspect, it shall.

If the senate is out of touch ... what's the chance for the rest of the common followers that do not consider this as any of their business ... when every blip in the cosmos has reactions --- Einstein on massive and lessor relativities!

I have been dealing with a severe and serious depression so I have limited my exposure here.
Right now my condition is fragile and I have to be careful....
I have made a decision that will in all likelihood result in me losing the woman I love so dearly and my children and grandchildren.
This is the reality for those of us who are trans when we finally can no longer bear presenting in the gender we are not.
Right now life is hell and everyday is a lot of work just to function....
Somehow I will find a way to survive.
Please know that I am under the care and watch of a professional therapist, a very good doctor, and a host of local friends that look out for me. I am on medication and I am taking is religiously.
I am doing all I can and I am determined to beat this.....
I am so so tired ..... so tired.....

I imagine RitaTG has been busy being active in the trans community. Striving to bring awareness to trans issues. It's the kind of thing RitaTG feels is important.

Unfortunately wrong Jae....... and I realize you didn't know about my condition....
Right now my group has suspended me from speaking and a lot of the work I was doing.
This is for my own safety as I was sinking fast and I was in a very bad place mentally....
Right now I cannot do the work I am so passionate about and that adds to the anxiety and hurt.
Such is life
