Do martial arts tend to throw themselves around when in essence the goal is to be prepared for evil doings?

Many people fall towards the bullying ... the temptation not to appear cow'd is just overwhelming ... thus the herder down under was known as Drover (Australia) as he pushed Lady Ashley beyond limits ... and the child in their protection went on a walkabout ... a cycle about nature as it lies there?

So many wee bits to gather from prodigal myths ...

Thus when cells deteriorate something Eris sis from the Runes ... a broken down icon of naïveté ... and you know how real people are about signs and Semites!

I once fell from a last step, does that count????????

I have a red and white belt in Karate and a purple belt in jujutsu. I have a black belt in Taekwondo and another in Aikido. However the belt is not as important as the practice of art itself. It is a lifetime commitment, you may never reach your full potential. The black belt, worn by a black belt holder, is the white belt of a beginner, turned black by his total commitment, and dedication.
Enough on Martial arts.

What has Martial arts got to do with falling from grace???????

If the belt is snug ... you won't fall out of the tree of knowledge? That could stupefy any critter ...

Mayhap also what can arise from Falling from Grace is freedom from surviving/suceeding/going through life via Luck and being forced to go through life via actual effort talent n skill?

First we need to examine what is meant by grace. Initially it is something I am given that I have not or could not earn.

Biblically speaking it is God's decision to give mercy where God determines to give mercy.

Falling from grace then would be falling out of the gift God gives. As if God is helpless to do anything about it and that renders grace something we are owed for some reason and not something we are given for reasons known only to God.

I believe scripture very clearly states in respect to salvation that God alone is mighty to save (we help not at all) and that the only thing we can rightly claim to earn is death as all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin are death.

So what does Paul mean? That our dalvation is always precarious and tge slightest hint of imperfection is our doom?

Let us hope not otherwise none of us survives because God alone is good and all of us have earned the wage of death.

Paul is speaking initially to the Church in Galatia and later to all those with ears to hear.

It would be helpful if we knew the questions or issues he was responding to to understand what he was communicating.

What was it I wonder that those foolish Galatians were getting up to?

If memory serves they were having trouble with the Judaizers and wrestling with what they were now being told they had to do to earn a right standing before God.

Somethings never change eh?

At any rate to fall from Grace is to have God rethink God's mercy since we only come to find ourselves in the midst of grace because that is what God chooses to give us.

I presume the statement is a rhetorical device and is best read sarcastically. The Galatians, having once trusted in the grace of God through Paul's mission are now being tempted by rules and surface observations as a means to be self-righteous rather than allowing the grace of God to be their righteousness.

The Galatians are being distracted from the grace which God freely gave to them and they could not earn for deeds and works of their own doing which cannot ever measure up without shifting our definition of good from that which God sets the standard for and the half-assed effort which we believe is best.

John,
Did you know that a Pall is a blanket case that covers all of good grace when sleeping ...

When drifting in that direction do you get a falling sensation? It is a sign for things coming ... the great becoming ... not much for those into the "being" part ...
